Courtney Allen It’s funny how most, if not all these prophets prophesy nice, pretty, sugar coated prophecies. “You’re going to have a great career, your bank account is going to increase, you’re going to be on tv, etc... All these prophets and apostles tell us about how this is going to be our year or our season. Is it going to be ALL of OUR year? ALL of OUR season? Repentance and forgiveness is rarely if not ever uttered in these prosperity based congregations.

Why was Paul saying that? He wanted to keep order in the church and eliminate confusion. Women were very much a part of God's plans. Think of Esther and Deborah in Judges.
Judges 4:4 Now Deborah, a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. If a woman has been use by God to preach the gospel what is it for you. God is love and He did not discriminate women like you do.
That scripture was for the women of that time because women were over taking and over powering the men and Paul corrected them with 1 Timothy 2.1. That scripture wasn't directed towards women speacking on the pulpit today.
