If he still establishes the Coven system then it can be argued that even with a good king Eda was failed by her society as a kid who thought creatively or shunned by her curse by her peers and other adults. So she wouldn’t trust someone supposedly offering a cure when no Coven had for decades or Lilith more ashamed of her sister’s condition rather than ending her pain.

im currently making a oc i call parrelel ghost rick he is kinda based of belos and he has a daughter callt kimi parrelel is cold hearted to everybody his loyal servents his leaders but not kimi she is more important for him than anything else even his hatred towards me he forgets when she is in danger he doesnt want to lose her not again
wel parrelel is actually corrupt by some of my ghost powers that got mutated giving him the same powers as me but it also mutates him into a goop like form but everytime he transform the corruption becomes worst causing his body to slowly rot mostly around his face and because of that parrelel always wears his mask and never takes it of exept for when he is alone his daughter kimi wants to help parrelel with his corruption but he wont allow her for her own safety
The part when Belos asks "who hurt you?" and Hunter replies "you. You hurt all of us." that hit hard.
