Yeah I think he really loved Anne and Lizzy was kind of a rebound, I guess? Maybe he did love her but not in the “love of his life” kind of way like it was with Anne.
It was clear Richard didn't love Lizzie as much as he loved Anne. But the fact that they started drifting apart after taking the crown allowed a little room for Lizzie to slip in his heart. Though Anne would always have a greater part of it.
I really loved Ricardo and Ana's couple, because in real life there was a deep love between them, unlike George, Ricardo was never interested in the inheritance and was loyal to his brother Eduardo until the end. The story relates that Ricardo loved Ana since he was a child because they grew up together, if he was very womanizing but when he married Ana, never, never really, was shown a lover even when Ana died. It is described that he even cried next to her coffin for a long time desolate while the court watched. Together with his wife they adopted the children of George and Elizabeth, now, the mystery of the princes of the Tower never showed that he had anything to do with it. They described Ricardo as a just man with his people when he was king. With all this, I really hate that England of that time did not allow him to demonstrate his great capacity as King and he was overthrown very soon, the whole town hated him for something that was never demonstrated and he probably would have been a great king, unlike of his brother, Ricardo was still clear about the purpose of the war they fought at the time.
Anne saw in him her perfect escape and she made a family she wanted to protect, Richard loved her until from point to make a life with her apart from court, their love story is intense and tragic, In the series Anne is a fighter I think that's why Richard and she made a good couple there 3 scenes that explain Richard's feelings, the first: despite the fact that he was quiet and mysterious, his love for Anne was clear since she was engaged to Edward of Lancaster, the way he reacts in that scene surprised even Elizabeth and Jaquetta, the second scene is when Anne surrenders to her death and Richard tells her that he needs her at that point everything was bad for them but Anne despite EOY and the problems was still the only emotional support .The third scene is when Richard sleeps with EOY despite the act his face and expression is empty, he apparently ran out of emotions at that point the chemistry of the actors is good but he does not reflect love . "All I ever wanted is you" is perfect for them, she liked him and in the book Richard expresses his wishes to get married when they were children; I loved the combination because I think Anne really lost a lot in this war not only her but she had a really sad life and the series tells it well although the last chapters were quite fanciful and far from history. What video!!! great Job one of the best edit, thanks for sharing

"Sunne in Splendour" is a very good historical novel about Richard III that presents a totally different Richard than the Shakespearean archetype. This show is based on the Philippa Gregory books, which are a lesser quality than "Sunne in Splendour," but similar in that they give Richard a fair shake.

Wasn't the romance between Richard and Elizabeth just a rumor that started in order to ruin Elizabeth's reputation so Henry Tudor could avoid marrying her?
More probably, either a rumor born spontaneously, or on purpose with the aim of thwarting the Portuguese double marriage plan, so that she was still available for Tudor to marry, because for him she was essential. Without her she hardly would have lasted long on the throne, given his flimsy to non existant claim.
You need to re educate yourself, Richard was a victim of Tudor propaganda. there is no evidence he killed his nephews and many of the crimes put at his feet. Not perfect, but not the hunchback killer Shakespeare made him to be.

@@JadlynJA lot of people wish it. HVII didn't get a lot of peace in his reign, and the famous 6 wives, well, if that wasn't HVII instilling in Henry (the spare, as his older bro Arthur died) that he needed sons, it was because his grip on the throne was tenuous. He "backdated" his reign to the day before Bosworth Field, which meant that R3 was legally tbe usurper, had many challe ges to his throne: Lambert Simnel as well as Perkin Warbeck, both claiming to be one or other of the Princes in the Tower, plots from the Warwicks, plots from the Poles, plots from the Greys (Elizabeth "White Queen"'s first family before she married Ed4. ) His reign, though longer, I don't think was confortable
Also the way of Edward of Lancaster said 'DEAD' is killing me. But the look on Anne's face was like 'what the hell did you just say to me about my dad you phsyco path get away from me before I get Richard to slap the heck out of your ugly face!' LOL I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET THAT ONE!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂💕💕❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️😸😸😸😸
this edit made me want to watch the TV show behind these characters and I did, their relationship was interesting to watch, they started innocent with stolen glances and you could tell that Anne at the least had a crush on Richard, and when they got together, I thought it was out of love but Richard sometimes made it look like he isn't really in love with her, he didn't deny it when George said he was after Anne's fortune, but he did seem broken-hearted when she died, so maybe he loved her but wasn't in love with her, he cared about her as a husband should, but it's not the kind where he will stop existing if she died, but of the three Yorks brothers, he is in second place after Edward
I think from the start of the series it's shown that Richard is aware of Anne's crush on him, that he's flattered and seems to share her feelings. By the way, the other characters seem to be aware of this. I think about the scene when Elizabeth's mother announces to Edward and Richard that Anne is getting married. The look she gives Richard and the shock in his eyes shows that everyone knows Anne means something to Richard. Simply, like his brothers, he has ambition. He is more introverted and subtle than his two older brothers which makes him better able to hide it, but he is a York too. Ambition and love can co-exist. Richard manages to deal with both. He loves Anne but he also wants her fortune. He is loyal to his wife and will do anything to protect her but, at the same time, seeks to increase his power to satisfy his personal desires. He has a dark side that makes him calculating despite his sincere feelings for his wife. And that's, in my opinion, the main obstacle in their relationship. They love each other, are faithful, support and understand each other. But Richard's thirst for power, his hidden desires, will lead them both to be heartbroken and die.
He was handsome as hell. You must have seen pics of what he would look like baded on his skull and portraits. Evil...no more evil than his contemporaries. Romantic, yes.
Who was Richard III historically compared to how Shakespeare wrote him in the play, Richard III? Shakespeare: Richard as older man, maybe 40’s-50’s real Richard: Died at 32 Shakespeare-middle son between George and Edmund real-youngest son Shakespeare-fought at St Alban’s, killed Oxford real-was a toddler aged 3 Shakespeare-forced Anne to marry him real-the widowed Anne had the right to refuse him and did not. They were married over 10 years Shakespeare- Richard had no children real-Richard had a legitimate son and 2 illegitimate children. Richard had a hunchback, withered arm and limp real-Richard had scoliosis of the spine which is NOT a hunchback, was easier to hide with clothes, and was never mentioned in his lifetime. He had no withered arm or limp That’s just for a start, before we even get to his ‘crimes.’

The funny bit is when in one of the videos Richard galloped down the staircase is just killing me. Also, when Elizabeth and Richard kissed Richard stopped and ran away he was like "NOPE" XD ITS KILLING ME LOL HAHAHAHAHA OMG LOLOLOLO. That's not it, Richard was in a fight and he didn't have a horse so he called a Knight over to him and leaped on his back and the knight started running and the Knight tripped over and Richard fell forward and went head first into the ground THAT'S ALSO KILLING ME LOL HAHAHAHAHA XDXDXDXD LOL I WILL NEVER FIRGET THAT.
I saw the series. And i liked more the love story of Richard and Anne. At the beginigs her familiy felt in disgrace when her father died and she became a widow of her firts husband. But she always likes Richard. And Richard at the begining was the youngest loyal brother of the king . But the destiny put him on the Throne and he already married for love with Anne . Who in that time was the write woman to support him in his new role as a king. She was the lovely daugther of a consellor of the king after he died in deagrace. Richard will take as his mistress his nephew like a political strategy. And Richard the sweet and beautifull prince became a roufless and cruel king because his following acts ....because of all the story I liked when the next king combine the two colors white and red rose in one. Tryng to finish the battle between the two familiys for the throne of England.
Ah...I see you like Byronic Heroes then! (That’s the archetype) Throw Loki on that pile, too. I’m still not over Kylo Ren and I refuse to believe it. 💔 Richard was a similer character to our dear Ben Solo...serious, sensitive, vulnerable, misunderstood, torn....ugh I love these characters.

The way they showed Richard dying was brutal..was pained to see him like that.. he didnt deserve it
He did for what he have done to Anne in the white queen
He low-key had it coming😂 though I wish he had won instead of Henry (Show version only)
only to end up having a car park built over him...
And now that creepy Edward is an absolute delight as Jasker in The Witcher on Netflix
Essa música ❤
this edit made me want to watch the TV show behind these characters and I did, their relationship was interesting to watch, they started innocent with stolen glances and you could tell that Anne at the least had a crush on Richard, and when they got together, I thought it was out of love but Richard sometimes made it look like he isn't really in love with her, he didn't deny it when George said he was after Anne's fortune, but he did seem broken-hearted when she died, so maybe he loved her but wasn't in love with her, he cared about her as a husband should, but it's not the kind where he will stop existing if she died, but of the three Yorks brothers, he is in second place after Edward
I swear Richard literally be frodo though
Richard III was in my mind the ultimate ugly, evil royal. Then along came this show and he's portrayed by a gorgeous actor. Thank you for that! :D
He was handsome as hell. You must have seen pics of what he would look like baded on his skull and portraits. Evil...no more evil than his contemporaries. Romantic, yes.
In real life he was kind, handsome and romantic
Who was Richard III historically compared to how Shakespeare wrote him in the play, Richard III?
Shakespeare: Richard as older man, maybe 40’s-50’s
real Richard: Died at 32
Shakespeare-middle son between George and Edmund
real-youngest son
Shakespeare-fought at St Alban’s, killed Oxford
real-was a toddler aged 3
Shakespeare-forced Anne to marry him
real-the widowed Anne had the right to refuse him and did not. They were married over 10 years
Shakespeare- Richard had no children
real-Richard had a legitimate son and 2 illegitimate children.
Richard had a hunchback, withered arm and limp
real-Richard had scoliosis of the spine which is NOT a hunchback, was easier to hide with clothes, and was never mentioned in his lifetime. He had no withered arm or limp
That’s just for a start, before we even get to his ‘crimes.’
I don't know who they are, but they look soooo cute
Characters are Richard the 3rd and his wife Anne Neville

@@stephanicrustina4393 The White Queen

3:30 episode?
What? In this show???
I knew it would be bad and still ate it I got sick and I deserve it
I saw the series.
Destiny put him on the throne?💀 More like scheming.
someone please what is the name of the series and where can I watch it 😉

Love my emotional boys: @Richard, Frodo, Snape, Kylo Ren 🔥😂
Ah...I see you like Byronic Heroes then! (That’s the archetype)
Throw Loki on that pile, too.
I’m still not over Kylo Ren and I refuse to believe it. 💔
Richard was a similer character to our dear Ben Solo...serious, sensitive, vulnerable, misunderstood, torn....ugh I love these characters.
@@mamavswild I'd put Aemond Targaryen there, too. Especially in the future seasons...
Those adjectives describe myself as a gay woman, too, haha. I don't seem to have luck with ladies, sadly 😐.
