In the morning, I started using the Nano Gold Eye Serum and Stress Repair concentrate under my eyes and it has been a game changer. Now my concealer glides on rather than sinking in fine lines.
I am obsessed with Chantecaille. I have accumulated a pretty good collection of make up and skin care but I only reach for the Chantecaille products. Great video, as always, Michelle. Ahhhh ... perfect Sunday cup of tea and Michele talking about Chantecaille! Since hearing about them from your videos almost a year ago, I’ve slowly become an addict ... initially with some of their makeup but now using their skincare religiously. Just started using the Biolifting mask which I switch off with days using the Jasmine and Lily and several times a week the Hibiscus exfoliating mask which is miraculous (and gentle!) After hearing in an online class that Sylvia Chantecaille keeps her rose de mai mist on her nightstand, I’ve started to do the same ... a mist at bedtime and when waking just feels so refreshing. And their whole connection with nature and conservation efforts makes me even happier to rely on their products so much. I also find that while some aspects of their line are decidedly more than I can spend, there are great options at a price point I am comfortable with and their products last for so long since you normally only need a little each use. Oh and finally - I love using their mask brush to apply the masks ... I never did that before but get better application with just the right amount. Ok, I’ll stop now but I am so happy you introduced me to this brand ... my skin has never looked better or been more healthy.

Moisturisers do NOT hydrate. A really good way of adding the, very much needed, hydration, is to apply a couple of layers of essence/tap water and (while the skin is wet) apply the moisturiser. Moisturisers are occlusives, they hold the moisture in. So, by doing the method here, the hydration is locked in. As a fellow sufferer of dehydrated skin, I can, hand on heart, say - this really works! ❣🌸❣🌸❣ PS : I pray you are feeling a little bit better. You've been in my thoughts and prayers. 💗🙏

That’s an over simplification. Occlusives don’t moisturize, true, but emollients do. Gemma from Pampered Wolf has a great video on the different types of ingredients in moisturizers and what to look for depending on your skin type. With that said, I do have a great spray mineral water that I do use on my skin pre-moisturizer in the winter months.

I feel that Chantecaille products, both skincare and makeup, are superior in their ingredients and formulation. The faux cils longest lash mascara has become my HG mascara, as my lashes (after eyelash curler) become longer, thicker and maintain their curl. Thanks for doing this video, Michele!

Mich, after I use all my potions and lotions and sunscreen, I have a shiny face. Even when I don't use them I have a shiny face (dry skin). I guess I need a powder? I haven't saved your videos with powders...bad me...can you recommend one? There are soooo many. I have fair, dry skin. Laurie Chin Hi Laurie Chin, I’ve been using the face oil for couple months and just started using the rosewater. Both get great reviews. Depending on if there’s a specific issue you’re looking for in your skincare you can’t go wrong with either. For me the face oil gives me more benefits (I have combo/dry skin) and the rosewater is a refreshing spray before makeup or during the day. I hope this helps. 😊

Love Chantecaille. I find "less is more". As I am aging, (72), a light dusting on my eyes makes a nice statement without looking garish on older lids.

Laurie Chin Hi Laurie Chin, I’ve been using the face oil for couple months and just started using the rosewater. Both get great reviews. Depending on if there’s a specific issue you’re looking for in your skincare you can’t go wrong with either. For me the face oil gives me more benefits (I have combo/dry skin) and the rosewater is a refreshing spray before makeup or during the day. I hope this helps. 😊
