To be honest, Marlinpie is a rather unique player to come to DBF, given that he is both a Marvel and Guilty Gear player. If ANYONE has the fundamentals for an easy transition to DBF, is it Marlipie.
I’m a big Dragon ball fan that came here from sm4sh and I had tried both UMVC3 and Skullgirls and sucked at those games to the point where I couldn’t even enjoy it but when I tried the Fighterz open beta it was the first time I had fun playing a non-smash fighting game. This game is beautiful for more than its awesome visuals :D
That Nappa was something else, always enjoy seeing lesser played characters instead of Black,16 and Cell all the time. Hopefully we see some more Nappa, Ginyu, Krillin, Tien and Lord Yamcha later down the line

Jaylen archer it can be but most people use it as “the X factor “ meaning this is the tool that gets me the win given because the sparking blast increases damage, allows you to get another jump out of a combo(the combo extension ) and allows you to jump out of Lights and down or forward mediums. sparking blast also have other capabilities but these are the most important.

The "vanish out of the corner" meta is such a downer to watch lol. Like I know there are a million and a half ways to frame trap it, bait it, counter vanish it, whatever... But it's such a buzzkill watching people rely on it so heavily (and it working almost every time).
Kentrell Williams Honestly. I don't trust a safe jump to cut it anymore. With Frieza I use backdash, 5H+assist. With Piccolo, orb+IAD H (with 2H confirm). And with Goku... I jump and PTG lol.
foxof42 I play Frieza too, if you get a slide kd you can do disc and if they vanish and you crouch block it will still hit and you can get a combo. I haven't been doing iad h+ assist.
Kentrell Williams It's actually not a jump at all, you just toss those rocks and they're at just the right height to pull someone down from an up tech as a true meaty. Beats vanish obviously, can't be superdashed. With a beam assist you get your disc bnb midscreen and whatever you want in the corner. On block the beam frees you up to come in and pressure.
Oh, and you only need to backdash to space it/time it in the corner. It's a dash forward midscreen. You can also do it solo with ki blast pressure (5H, S) but that's only if you don't have an assist to work with.
If you're talking about the first one playing during the matches against the nappa, tenshinhan and 16 battle, I believe it's the final boss theme from Yakuza 0. Dunno about the rest
