Muchova is the absolute opposite of Sabalenka in playing style. She is quiet, crafty, and compensates the over-use of power with incredible tennis IQ. That's why she is Sabalenka's cryptonic.
@@dariak1221You are stupid because Aryna has very high tennis IQ and doesnt rely solely on her power. Tell me you dont watch tennis without telling me lol
I think Iga is much more hated by Aryna considering 8-4 HTH and Iga constantly refusing to give no.1 to Aryna and storming to reclaim it right after she loses it. She even yanked out Madrid from Aryna's hands this year. Aryna tried to break a window in Iga's car with her 2023 Stuttgart runner-up trophy.
Muchova is a great athlete. It's a shame she can't maintain her form (and lack of injury) for longer, because she would have been WTA #1 a long time ago.
If Muchova doesn’t start winning titles she’ll be the most talented player with 1 title to her name. We as tennis fans pray she stays injury free now so she can get back to the upper echelons of tennis
@@madgavin7568 True, but Krejcikova beat Swiatek the last two time they played and both of them were in finals. Also Krejcikova should have won their match in Rome 2021. The head to head could have been 3-1.
Only if the reason is being best player of her generation… & loosing rarely. But tbh ppl in Europe , Australia, South America etc respects her a lot cuz she is an amazing champion. Hate comes usually from USA - its sad but everything comes from her having 11-1 h2h against America favourite & looking on game styles it’s pbly not going to change so much in upcoming years.
Sabalenka will eventually figure out how to beat her. She has been close everytime. I also feel like its partly psychological because she always struggles to close it out.
It's not psychological. It's match up. Muchova is crafty with high tennis IQ. Sabalenka is hitting hard but has no intuition and anticipation. She is just trying to break the ball. It works for many opponents apart of those who make her sweep the floor from left and right and up and down. Sabalenka is disaster at the net. You cannot figure out somehow who outsmart you on the court.
Always great to see the ball bashing screaming banshee that is Sabalenka lose. But especially to a much more interesting player with so much variety and barely a murmur. Also good to hear Evert's clear unbridled joy at Muchova's play.
Yeah, Muchova beat Sabalenka 3 times, but then what? She always loses right after. Beating Aryna is literally the highlight of her career because she can’t get close to a title. RG final? Lost to Swiatek. Cincinnati and Beijing? Gauff took her out. Meanwhile, Aryna’s over here stacking trophies, 4 just this year, and still counting! Muchova can celebrate her 3 wins, but one wins matches, the other wins championships.
Świątek is much more accomplished player than Aryna and Gauff is also a grand slam champion. Muchova losing to them is not a bad thing. Aryna and Coco themselves are dominated by Iga. Muchova lost all her matches to Iga in 3 sets and won once vs baby Iga in 2019. Sabalenka won almost all her titles exclusively on hard courts other than Madrid which is not real clay. She's 1-dimensional player that can't win anything on clay/grass.
Wow a player with career high ranking of 8 loses to swiatek and gauff? She’s so bad 😂 her last 3 tournaments: sf - f - sf, many players would do anything for that
@@SmithyPL No one’s denying Iga is an amazing player, but the point here is that Muchova has had multiple chances after beating Aryna and hasn’t capitalized on them. It’s not just losing to Swiatek or Gauff, it’s missing those key opportunities to take the next step. Oh, Madrid ‘isn’t real clay’? Guess someone forgot to tell the entire WTA and ATP tours, because last I checked, it’s still a Masters 1000 event, one of the biggest titles on the calendar. But sure, let’s pretend it’s some casual exhibition because it doesn’t fit your narrative. Sabalenka’s two Madrid titles must have just fallen into her lap, right? And let’s not forget Swiatek hasn’t won anything on grass either, but somehow that’s not mentioned. The only one in the top 10 with titles on every surface is Rybakina. So, let’s not act like Sabalenka’s lacking in versatility. Meanwhile, despite all this talk, guess who’s sitting pretty at world number one? Yep, Aryna. Muchova can keep celebrating those three wins like they’re Grand Slam titles lol. The ranking speaks for itself.
@@Axer_ Exactly, I’m not saying reaching SF or F is bad, especially for a player like Muchova. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like Karolina’s game, she’s super talented and has a unique style that’s fun to watch. But the difference is in the consistency of winning big titles. It’s like she has all the tools, but when it’s time to deliver on the biggest stages, she just doesn’t show up. She’s had plenty of chances to prove she can take that next step, but she can’t seem to close the deal. No matter how good a player - or person - she is, her grunt is absolutely ridiculous and I refuse to believe it's isn't part of a psychologically hindering mechanism and a distraction to other players, I mean even men don't grunt that loud !
Who cares? You have never played tennis. When you are on court, you don't hear them bc you are focused on your game. If you are good, it does not matter. Also, tennis players do not care what the audience thinks.
