I had a civic 99 that I bought and condition was much worse than anyone can imagine. Spent around 300k on that and months and months of hectic workshop visits. I literally had to take my work laptop with me and work from workshop 😂😂.. But in the end its all about how passionate you are and how you ignore people around you telling that you are wasting your time and money.. Had to drive the civic without carpet for a month in moonsoon just to find leakages in floor along with endless list of things that were done but in the end the car came out exactly how I wanted it to be. Please do take 2nd opinions from other mechanics. Dismantling a complete gear just for changing a shifter seal which is on the outside might be changed on the gear box without removing it
DONT WORRY !!! meri mark x ka gearbox bhi change huwa tha, and ac ka bhi issue aya tha, gear box change karwa kar bhi gari bohot tang karti thi meray pass 3.0 wali mark x thi at the end menay gari sale kar di 2.6million ki in 2019, btw good luck for your project!.
