This film has to be one of the best that has come out of iran. I absolutely loved it and i must say that i had never before cried so much with a movie. What makes it so depressing is that there is an element of truth in this movie that exists in iran and one that is hardly spoken about (not so graphically any ways). If there was a persian award equivelent to the oscars than this movie deffinatly deserves it... better yet, how about an oscar for the Best Foreign film? (It's a nice wish any ways)

why do people try to run away from reality.. why is it that we LOVE this movie and feel so empathetic towards dear ali santori when there's thousands of homeless people around us JUST like him, we walk past people like this on our way to the mall or school everyday. why is it that we feel so heroic when watching movies like this? its pretty easy to cry about a movie and a song like this, why? because it's just too heard to actually go outside and help people..why? because helping involves money
