The material is fairly rigid, so it should stay up with no problem. You can also try tucking the material under the center headrest (if the vehicle is so equipped). @@4Knines yes, I am talking about the center zippered portion. My car doesn't have a center headrest, so I'm hoping that this will stay in place like you say. My dog is pretty heavy and big, so my concern is that it will move everytime she shifs position in the seat. Maybe on your next model you can attach a strap that will wrap around the back of the seat to buckle to the other side when the seat is folded down, for extra stability.
