I cry every time they start playing Happy Birthday for Bren. I can't get enough of this show - a good-hearted, empathetic woman who has had a hard life finally finds happiness. It's a lovely story. Floods of tears.... Victoria Wood was/is a genius - full stop. Bernard Wrigley cracks me up, too - but Bren? I have a crush on Andrew Dunn, and love every one of the dinnerladies - and even Petula (which many people say they hate), but she was hilarity herself. (Julie Walters is amazing in anything, but best when with Victoria Wood IMO. I wonder how much "Bren" was in Victoria Wood's heart - probably a lot, to write her so perfectly. She was sheer, perfect, utter genius. A national treasure sorely missed. ❤😢❤😢 Thank you, Ms. Wood, for all the laughter and happy tears. How much we miss you! RIP, and know you will NEVER be forgotten.n. Blessings straight to Heaven for you from all your fans. I bet you're entertaining the angels up there, keeping them all happy. I wish you could just return to us, but I know you're aware of all these comments. I hope they touch you as deeply as you’ve touched all of us. ❤
I must say I'm delighted Tony and Bren got together. (I wouldn't mind being in the Highlands with Tony myself - LOVE Andrew Dunn!) But this is a l8ve story to end all others. Bren is a perfect empath. We need more Brens! ❤ Xxx ❤
It was matricide! I can't believe that a policeman would stoop so low! There are some hilarious lines and Victoria gave them away generously. RIP Ms Wood, Queen of British Comedy.
One of the small one of the crunchies start with the original crunches and Julie Walters stop she's trying to stop Brenda going away with Tony to Scotland Brenda's mum trying to put spanner in the Works spanner in the Works One Stop brain going to Scotland and mum's trying to stop her mum when does Mum Brenda's mum Brenda mum-Man in the works for children

Sometimes it's hard to watch this episode knowing that Victoria has left us. She was an amazing writer & actress.
Bernard Wrigley. A ⭐️ in the making. His timing is impeccable. “Never mind the flippin bacon- have you got any anti-depressants?” 🤣🤣
That Jingle Bells turn, with the moves, is worth the licence fee alone!
The acting and writing are amazing. And that surprise for Bren always gets me emotional

The Pride of Prestwich. Gone too soon. RIP Victoria, Queen of Comedy.
This episode must be a contender for the greatest episode of a British comedy series ever made! Peerless!
It was matricide!
I can't believe that a policeman would stoop so low! There are some hilarious lines and Victoria gave them away generously. RIP Ms Wood, Queen of British Comedy.
Cried again (every time) Perfection :)💌
The script is absolutely amazing!!
I’m watching this episode every Christmas along with Last of the summer 🍷 😊
the Jingle bells alone makes this worth watching.
Best line - "Whoever told her (Nana Mouskouri) to have a stab at 'Paddy McGintie's Goat' did her no favours!" RIP Miss Wood and thank you
Watching in 2021 love British humor especially Victoria wood 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤aww love this episode so much! Tony got Bren a brass band 😊
There is something very special about Dinnerladies; brilliant writing and exemplary performances from the cast. What ever happened to Auntie?

17:20 Jane’s Christmas song
Why did Vic eyeball the camera as much as she did? Anyone know?
21:01 can anyone make out what Twink says after Bren asks her if she’s alright now?

Jean is not a very nice person. The sound of her voice and things she says are usually negative and mean
12:48 biphobic remark
‘I don’t know how bisexuals manage’ is not in the least biphobic.
Not even xD
@@tommieves1404 it is very much biphobic, bigoted and based on ignorance. He implied bisexual people are polyamorous and that’s out of order.
@@terrybaker8156 Shut up, Puritan. There. You flushed me out. I'm phobic regarding self-righteous/hypercritical finger-pointers. I hate you lot.
It’s called a joke. This is what’s called a comedy. You will need to get what’s called a sense of humour to appreciate it.
