What a good positive change in the confidence of this man. From the first time I saw him on BGT to this...Wow...Good for you Chris and follow your dreams.
First, Chris Maloney's 1st audition goes down as one of the top ten favorite auditions of all time. His "underdog" story is powerful inspiration for all who have had a history of hurtful criticism. In spite of some judges having to put Chris down each week. (Made me think they had put money down on other contestants -- felt the need to put Chris down to hedge their other bets.) Chris seems more at home with ballads and he really ROSE TO THE OCCASION, especially the last 2 songs. Bravo! Broke past the "Karaoke" label and stepped up to World Class inspiring performance. Had I paid for a concert ticket and you delivered as you did on the last 2 performances -- my thought was "I'm glad I paid and got to experience this". -- May God bless your entire life as your dreams become reality.
Where is Chris now I thought he was fantastic it's a shame Simon couldn't have been there at the time. I loved his reaction when he got the wild card I was happy for him, what I like about him as well, he kept going through all the bad criticism, he kept going he would done better on b.g.t when Simon came back.anyway I loved his performances and I hope he's doing well these days.
I love some of the old songs, I've often heard them sing by contestants mostly on b.g.t and a.g.t I loved the 80,s songs , sir rod Stewart sings his old songs all the time and his fans love him, so why can't chris, he put his all into his performances, and his voice is great and yes I will buy his albums.
I thankful that Gary got this guy. Love when you are you. You are real that is why I like watching and listening to you. Don't lose yourself in this business. Good luck!

Gary wasn’t wrong. Christopher is meant for power ballads.. his voice is phenomenal.. The current stuff Rarely brings in anyone like him anymore so we NEED this. We need Good, powerful singers that move you with their music and that’s what he can do. He doesn’t need to “fit the mold”. Bette Midler didn’t and she was incredibly epic.. I DON’T get the negativity from the other judges. He’s not a “pop star”, they don’t need to change his image and make him be like everyone else, he’s phenomenal JUST the way he is. His VOICE is what should matter most, he’s Amazing.

They’re all looking for someone main stream and he’s more classic like Bette Midler or Elton John. They definitely still have their place in music but they’re not on all the pop charts and stuff like that. That’s not who is meant to be so I don’t like the fact that Gary is the only one that sees that. You can be successful without being mainstream.
Christopher Maloney's voice is much more better & powerful than the judges Louis & Tulisa to be honest. That may be the reason why both of them criticise him week after week especially Louis- who is too harsh.
There were a few comments about the dancers, etc. the choreography you can bet he didn't design, the program put that in 'cause they felt it fit the song. Likely it distracted him but hey, it's show business. The judges have their opinions, I hope he toughened up, got thick skin and continued singing the songs he wants to. Once he get away from this judging competition his life, his choices of music are HIS. They can go pound sand.
It's astonishing how bitchy the judges can get sometimes and with specific artists. Really unfortunate that Chris gets targeted with criticism so often.
His best performances were The Rose and You Raise Me Up, the judges were correct that Gary gave him all 80’s songs to sing which did not do him justice
I respectfully disagree. Some music is classic. It takes you through your life, and comforts you the whole way through. People get sick of, so-called, new and improved. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Christopher is the bomb. Absolutely amazing. He is Real. Not afraid to be a man.... Not afraid to cry... Not afraid to love .. Damn sure not afraid to sing. In every moment of life. ...he is what people need. .. Gentle Strength.
I love the songs he sang great! But the passion and heart that was in the first song is gone. He was red in the face and he was shaking and tears was running down my face but non of the rest of the songs had the same effect.

What do they want him singing exactly? Maybe give that as a critique. Also I’m not sure what’s wrong with staying in your lane. Cause they also sing Broadway and other top tiered musical acts.
