+1 for the FOR GONDOOORR!!! ability. Apart from the damage and armor boost a small speed boost would be nice too, to simulate a charge.

Interesting. Imagine an Osgiliath mission in campaign where you can't win, but must essentially last as long as possible to get more rewards from the Minas Tirith mission. Less bonuses at Osgiliath, means you have to fight harder at Minas Tirith which in itself is insane mode. Less bonuses means more Nazgul and catapults.

Can't wait for the campaign, especially the evil one! I hope Mordor will get some Nazgul or Witch King there similar to the other campaigns, that was always bothering me. Maybe even enable Nazgul to lvl up and start at lvl 5.
I'd find it way cooler if Nazgul also started at lvl 5 in skirmishes and got a lvl 8 ability let's say. Not an insane one but a good one at least.
If Nazgul started at level 5, it will be a lot squishier and heroes like eowyn, gandalf or faramir can one shot them. If level 10 nazgul takes so much damage from eowyn's smite, think what would happen if it was level 5.
The game you lost when playing as isengard against isengard AI: was it the same difficulty?

The "For gondor" ability sounds amazing!
Mordor spams Catapult and trolls quite fast in this patch you need to start with cavarly to have mobility but then you have to build Rangers ASAP with heroes

Yeah I tried this insane AI as evil vs evil. Not sure if it is actually impossible but I have not been able to beat evil AI as evil. Would love to see you give it a shot ;)
Peregrin Took for the win! You could've revived him at the end and let him score the last hit. And "For Gondor" ability would be great (it actually exists in Age of the Ring and I think it suits Boromir perfectly).

The “For Gondor” ability seems like a reasonable variation.
You might see if you could make a button with a screen to open allowing for the various patches and options to be toggled on and off... might need to restart or reboot each time but that’s a different issue.
Also the make your own hero feature from the second edition was a fun game back in the day.
My biggest disappointment was that they overly controlled the hero development.
For example only “dwarves” could “leap”...
maybe “trolls” could also “leap”...
I remember that men could not...
I wanted to make a “Beren” character... sword/bow and stealth with leap along with other appropriate choices.
If you reworked the hero using a proper point system and allowing free choices up to the maximum points and allow each player to create a additional hero...
I think that would make a good game.
As it was the create hero was good for play against AI but it could be broken I think in multiplayer depending upon the choices because of the limitations placed on choice.
I am looking forward to returning to playing BFME.

Isnt it possible to add an "insane" difficulty level instead of replacing the hard army? I would like to have the possibility to play against insane and hard army without switching the file
Adding a new difficulty is unfortunately not possible only renaming is

I definitely think that the "For Gondor" ability would be very cool for them, and might make Gondor's infantry more viable. I don't think it should apply to Rangers, as they are already very strong, but maybe it would make archers vs rangers a somewhat choice, with PP of archers being lower means you can have more.
idk, just my 2 cents
Gondor infantry is actually very good with 2 captian of gondor abilities. You get them instantly to level 3 or 4 and can level them up every few minutes until they are strong enough for themselves. Level >5 gondor swordsmen with upgrades are really strong.

when they fall over they kill everything beneath them
u can use them even against factions that dont have walls but instead a lot of expensive units

From Eagle splash damage 12 power points 😮😮😮. When you play with farms and Grand Harvest you get a lot of resources but the upgrades are very expensive 600 for almost everything

Does the AI has money advantage?
Okay I have confirmed it isn't that hard to beat this AI in 1v7 if you pick gondor and give all of them gondor you just need to use summons mostly to kill trebs and slow seige with rangers and some knights. The AI is completely stupid at summons so they wont use them correctly at all and you won't even see AoD or eagles before you get like 3-4 fully upgraded castles and no seige at all until you defeat one army so.

personaly i dont liked.years after stop playing; that mod rekt me.. only better AI should be enough this mod not only better AI 10x more faster production and unlimited gold top on it. pls make a realistic one keep this mod give us only better AI mod. btw enjoyed your gameplay
