My favorite performance by Madi was her Battle with Aydan. Actually, it's one of my favorites of his as well. Certain people can just bring out the best in each other and I thought they did. Wishful thinking... would so like to see them try being a duo.

Her choosing Kelly would’ve been such a better choice! Especially with the song choices, George’s choices didn’t let her express her self in ways she did with Joe in her 1st season.

Madi works hard and is very talented and enjoys her music Madi has her own songs out on utube and she is not one to give up. The Voice has been a great experience and I’m sure she has learned a lot There a lot of great singers out there but they can only pick one winner. Agree! She actually did really well when she sang Nirvana and that song during the battles. But those where pretty much ballads. She can do soooo much better. I wish Delta would have turned for her. She would have taken her far.

In my opinion, Kelly was the best coach. I feel like the other coaches babied the contestants, but she really seemed to listen to what was good for THEM.

No, because her 'It Smells Like Teen Spirit' performance was literally flawless. Madi is absolutely amazing. Also just putting it out there that I have watched Ayden and Madi performance 13 times already. :-)
I love the arrangement and she was technically perfect, but it definitely needed a little more grit and anger in it. I still loved it though.

I stopped watching after hearing her sing for 10 seconds. But after the first 2 to 3 seconds I knew she *CAN’T*. sing. Why are people lying to her?

I believe Madi has an angelic voice, but singing isn't all about how it sounds, it's about the emotion you put into the song (or the connection you create with the song) that transforms someone into a truly amazing artist.

boy goerge is a great singer but i feel like because of his personality he is incomparable to joe as he is a pop singer, a new age pop singer and if you watch all the reactions that Madie gives when the song choices are given she is surprised and she even says at 5:02 that it is something she would never listen to but if you watch this th-cam.com/video/JDjeTpdih-w/w-d-xo.html, where she sings with Ayden, she is matched by someone in the same genre od music and similar age, also joe being in the music scene nowadays he knows the market well and this energetic style of pop that isn't totally repetitive totally fitter her character a lot more and felt more in her area of strength as the song is/was popular, everyone was singing it, and has a fast pace that you can get really into. now i feel that this song didn't reflect the style she may be going for which caused an 80% effort in vocals as it is not a song she enjoys or even knew 2 weeks prior and that joe just knew what was best not what was unknown, and in a different style.ad she knows who she wants to be and wants to sing in itis pointless to give her a song she doesn't like or knows and so feels that boy George was a bad decision and that if she has song choices that were fun and energetic, allowing her to get further/win thereby giving her the opportunity to try other styles when he has an audience and not giving her different songs hence making the views turn away!

It seems in my opinion that she held back a lot more this time around. When she was first on, she didn't hold back at all and her performance was amazing each time she sang. I'm not downing her, she has amazing talent, when she lets go.

The fact that every single judge even except boy george were contantly giving her tips and tricks and what she needs to improve just shows the real reason of this show.
The girl can sing, but her performances were lukewarm. There wasn't any fire. She never really went for it. Maybe it was the song choice, maybe it was her playing it safe, but I liked her audition so much better. She had a bit of an attitude then.

poor madi. i know you all are stating your own opinions, but i wish the best for her. she had so much determination & that was so powerful of her to go back on the voice and show the judges what she had in her. i also agree with someone these comments. the song choice was terrible. i respect george but what you said to her gave her more determination but also brought her down. which is totally fine, but i have no words for the songs.
She was doing so well, but I don't think she has the raunchy voice for Slave. She was still bloody awesome though, she's still learning and blossoming as an artist!

Madi has an INCREDIBLE voice and I think that if she would have gone with Kelly her voice would pop off way better and she might’ve even won the competition because Kelly knows how to manage with woman’s voice better than her coach. He gave her a lot of low vocals and that’s why they didn’t see her full potential that year and it sucks tbh

Kelly was broken when she didnt choose her. That passion shouldve been enoughto give kelly another chance!
She was really good, and she did great with the nirvana song. It's good that some diversity was in there, I think she needed that, just to fully see her potential and range. I also think sticking with the pop princess style was the way to go as well, because that is clearly her, but the Brittany song was not the right pick for her and there was just too much going on.
I understand being a judge wouldn't be easy, but that was definitely on Boy George.

Madi did well - she held her own. Though she did not win the battles, that washer greatest moment.
Boy George tried to change her. She didn't need to be changed, she needed to be taught. She had the voice, the skill, the performance, but she needed that push, and that guidance. He was trying to give her these way out of left field songs, when she needed to adapt to songs she could give her all in.
He was trying to help her become more than just 1D. Every truly great artist is more than just 1 genre. Not everyone is capable of being a truly great artist though. She needs to develop her emotions first. Learn how to put them in songs.
Madi has so much talent and still enjoying singing her own music and since she preformed on the Voice she still succeeds in doing and enjoying what she loves and that’s Singing ❤❤❤

I felt the 2018 songs were a better fit for her, but I really enjoyed the fact that Boy George really took her out of her comfort zone even if it wasn't the best for getting her to the finish line I think it was the much better for helping her grow as a performer.
