- Is Sonic real, can Sonic fly, and is Sonic his real name? All that and more answered by the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, Roger Craig Smith.
Roger Craig Smith was the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog from 2010 to 2021. He lent his vocal talents to Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, Sonic Boom, and Sonic Forces among many other titles.
In this video, we decided to take to the internet to figure out what the people want to know most about him and Sonic. Watch as we ask Roger the most searched questions about the blue blur to see what he had to say, and find out how well he knows the character himself.
But you've probably also heard his voice in more than just Sonic games. Roger Craig Smith is prolific and is also the voice of a bunch of other iconic video game characters including Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Assassin’s Creed series, Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins, and Mirage in Apex Legends. No.. Sonic can't outrun a black hole. Did we all forget Terminal Velocity from Sonic Colors? After defeating Eggman? Lol
He did outrun it for at least 30 seconds. The thing kept expanding so considering that and the suction force, it’s pretty impressive.
@@Supersteam09 do be fair, it might be confirmed that to escape a black hole one needs to move faster than light (something sonic has done before) so there is a possibility that sonic can outrun a black hole.
@@prorocco6449 I strongly believe he’s faster than light. Most people may not know it but he’s already capable of moving at light speed. If he can do just that, there’s no reason to doubt he can’t surpass it. Plus he did catch the Cyan Wisp and that can go at light speed.
Oh boy downplay time I guess. Sonic can time travel by running fast enough, says light speed is a joke to him, dimensional travel, escaping chaos control and outrunning it.
Sonic outran the gravitational pull of the black hole which is why he was able to run away from it at all. He however was not able to outrun the expansion of the black hole

Wow. When I was little and still read the Archie comics, I misremembered Sonic's real name (Maurice) as Laurence, and when I told my brother in a conversation, he was like 'Oh, so his name's Larry, then?'
From then on I called Sonic Larry. It wasn't until several years later, I realized I was mistaken... Or so I thought. Thank you, Roger Craig Smith; both for your decade long performance as Sonic and, more importantly, proving that I wasn't wrong. 😏
