The Three Stooges - Swing Parade (two-reeler edit)

As the title implies, I'm taking the so-so feature films that co-starred the Stooges and cutting them down to make full-on funny two reel-length comedies out of them. (Yes, this runs a bit longer than a typical two-reeler but it's as deep as I could cut it while retaining all of the boys' bits and some semblance of a plot!)

One of Curly's better performances that year. His health was declining due to his first stroke a few months after filming Idiot's Deluxe(1945), and his performances were basically unpredictable, one performance he was up and others down. He was up for this movie and really looks good in every scene.

I’m so glad you were able to cut this movie down to remove all semblances of that annoying bellboy. I always skip that part.

This one is from their Columbia days but it's a MonoGraM picture -- the name at least has "MGM" in it! (Studios back then would occasionally "loan out" their stars to other movie companies on a one-shot basis)
However, that doesn't help to explain why nearly 1000 people have watched my two-reeler edit of "Meet the Baron" but only around 20 have watched this one (and this one is better, I think!)
