The switch on the right side of my GTI pole year 2013 crashed, to open the glass than to use the driver's side switch. What can not be without the switch on the right? Replacing the switch could I solve the problem?

Thanks for this, our UK spec car has a small plastic cover just above the door catch that needs removing and the T25 torx screw removing first. I cracked the door cover as i hadn’t noticed it, and your doesnt have this screw
