OutdoorsIsFun I have owned this gun since I was in the 8th grade, I am in college now! 5 years! this is an amazing gun and it has never truly failed me. Blew a fuse once when my buddy borrowed it but he was working it way harder than necessary. This gun is tough!
I have his gun and it has lasted three years with minimal wear and tear. I use a intellect 9.6v 2000mAh battery, 3 150 rnd mid cap mags and a vertical foregrip. If you want to mount an optic then buy the CYMA scope mount kit off of AirsoftMegastore. I know their service can be pretty crappy at time but it was the cheapest and quickest way to go. After I mounted everything up i put an NC STAR Holographic sight on the scope mount. I have chronoed this gun and it is shooting around 400fps.
"Not in like a dirty way..." - Hahaha. Anyway, everything I've heard about JG says that they overpower their guns for their parts. They come with higher velocity, but the parts aren't able to hold up under the stress. I would not recommend putting one of their springs into your CYMA. That spring is why the JGs always break.
@IIDASHII that is very true. The spring that came in my jg had worn out alot to about 390 fps so i still decided to put it in my cyma. I also shimmed it and put in the JG airnozzle and piston. They all seemed higher quality than the cyma parts. The JG was supposed to be "enhanced" so maybe they put in higher grade parts, not high enough quality parts though obviously.
@OutdoorsIsFun yeah true, I just buy jg, same thing minus like 50-100 bucks for same gun, unless its worth paying that for it saying echo1. Take an echo1 apart, it'll say jg on gearbox. and from my exp, cyma seems 2 make smoother gearboxes.
@camomdm12 No I haven't. All I have is the CYMA version. I bought the Kalashnikov anniversary tactical edition, so mine is upgraded quite a bit. 450+FPS and all metal save for the front stock. I'm really impressed with it, because I have an upgraded TM AUG civilian that costs 3 times as much, and the CYMA can easily roll with it.

@brandonandjoe2000 actualy the cyma brand ak's are the lead. cyma has the lead on ak 47 and ak 74's. echo 1 onley has like 2 ak 47 versions the caw ak and the ak 47 clasic that has wood stock and hand guard
U got an unlucky ak I have three of that exact same gun and they all three have never failed me! The only down side about them is that it's a pain to take apart other than that they are amazing guns! And the upper receiver wobbly ness is nothing, if your really gonna complain about it don't buy it, all u need is to put something in there and it will stop!
@jewycakes The FPS of your gun is not what makes it better, though its obviously helpful. The question is, can the inner parts handle the piston spring for long? I've heard from many, many people that JG just drops in a giant spring and they don't give parts that can handle it. That's a recipe for disaster. I'll take a CYMA with parts that are built to handle the spring in it over a JG any day, especially when you can get a 450+FPS CYMA for $150. I am incredibly impressed with mine for the $.
hey bud can you please show me or give me a link to a video where you are breaking down this ak-47 I've got one just like this and I'm having a problem with my flight it's sticking it won't close all the way when releasing it and would like to know if do I have to take it apart to fix this problem any help would be highly appreciated thank you and congratulations on your videos you're doing a great job :-) happy holidays
@jewycakes my friends jg ak has broken and i guess it was his fault. His gun shoots about 10 feet before the bb hits the ground. he wont let me look at it internally so its basically broken for him.
Its called abs plastic. Alot of full metal airsoft rifles use abs plastic. Why, it isnt easy to brake as your chines junk plastic.aka (the toys you get out of the 25 cent machines.)
Hey I want the one with a folding stock except I want to know if the folding stock (the up stock not the plastic ones that fold to side the) is able to be tooken off.
i have a JG and its much better mine was hitting 405-420 fps out of box..... i had to downgrade it to use it, it was too powerful to be full auto at my arena

This ak is one of the best i have ever had, mine shoot's better than most high end m4's seeing as it shoots 375 fps out of the box.

@nashtrash8 nope just look thru the box to see if there are any extemely deformed ones... there's usually 2 or 3 every 5000.

what do you mean a pain to take apart? their amongest the simplest guns to take apart and put back together, almost similar to a REAL AK

The gun itself is 95% metal. I am not 100% that the outerbody is though, I believe so.
and yeah the mag is 600 rounds and each full wind will give you 150 rounds to go nuts on

first off 1. ur AEG should not have a spring 2. there shouldent be shrinkwrap on wires it should re plastic / rubber
