Honestly listening to Jae talk about being a reject is so inspiring.I'm also like that in my high school but seeing how he's grown and seeing that he has a lot of friends now gives me hope for the future
So you are telling me that's the whole thing?? Like.... everything??? Or they do post it in other platforms? I want to watch the entire podcast , where can I watch it????
@@Xxx-ko7ug No they don't post the whole video for podcast anymore, just highlights. If you want to listen to the whole podcast, you can. They post it on soundcloud, spotify, iTunes,... but just with the audio, no video.
idk young k got his degree && he majored in business administration at a rlly good korean university. im sure jae could do it too, but a lot of idols who go to uni kind of get special treatment. iirc, young k tried really hard and was really noteworthy bc he focused on studying whilst writing music and practicing.
I get the feeling that Jae somewhat regrets coming to Korea. I mean, I love him. I'm happy and grateful that I get to hear him sing and make music. But I'm getting the vibe that he would have been happier if he stayed in the US and lived a normal life -- a life that he dreamed for himself.
This has to be one of my favorite Eric Nam podcast that I've listened to so far (I mean the whole podcast). I hope you bring more ASC mcs and have a podcast with Jimin and Kevin too. It's fun to see serious Jae and Eric talk.
Jae's honesty and the way these two really just makes the entire conversation still interesting even tho they're just talking about themselves 😭 Maybe I am inlove with the both of you ♥️
Jesus God i believe they do get good money as day6. Their albums are selling well for a band and they don’t really need those fancy clothing or dancers, topped with all if their songs copyrighted to themselves which should be good. Being in jyp means you’ll get stable income after a while. And I hope they learn how to invest those money on assets too.
OMG Jae's situation is so similar to mine I had no friends at primary school I was doing pretty well in intermediate school but we moved to another country and high school life was just so freaking hard for me but now in university I have these genuine friends that I'm so grateful for. So peeps don't give up just be yourself and the doors will slowly start to open one after another.
As someone who moved away from my home country to England, Jae in this absolutely inspired me . I feel teary eyed listening to this for some reason because quite frankly, I could also be called a "school reject" (lmao) and going through that is never easy at all. But with the way Jae is now, it inspires me to be better and feel as if i am capable . transitioning into different countries is never easy and goddamn i love jae for this
jae's experience is so reminiscent of my own middle and high school experience (right down to the allergies and blowing your nose during class lmao) and as an aspiring artist, it was amazing hearing both of your different experiences!
Thank you Jae for telling us not to give up. Its just a short video but I got a lot of input and even inspired by you two. Keep up the good job eric 👍 and jae, good luck for your tour tho you didnt come to my country. We will keep waiting and we believe DAY6 will come here one day 😉. Lots of love from MY🇲🇾
I'm totally agree with Jae. College friends is so so so greaaaattt. They never judge you whatever your condisition are. I feel that way with my college friends and i love them.
I thought I'm only super weak for jae's voice when he's singing but this mic gave his voice so much justice... and the fact that jae talked with such a calm and deep voice here.... I'm having a nose bleed right now
I remember my whole high school years being alone and damn it was the worse during the lunch break and those 25 minutes every single day was the worst years of my life. I don't know how I survived being alone, but I got me some 'friends' I think when I got into college and stuff and I'm changed now. But there are some pros and cons to this life cause back then when I was alone, I didn't care how others saw me as and I could do things on my own and so to say I was stronger mentally, but now I feel so helpless and always needing to depend on somebody and also the mental stress is eating me alive.
Hearing about how Jae felt like an outcast in HS and then as though he missed out on his golden years later on made me sad but it was also super relatable :( You're still in your golden years and you're a successful rockstar! Don't beat yourself up about missing whatever 'golden age' of youth we're forced to believe exists between certain ages. Also I'm totally blown away that Eric was offered a consultant job before going to SK to be a singer...dude really would've made it out on top no matter what path in life he took omg
Jae is very genuine. I listened to the whole podcast and Eric sounded a little frustrated throughout but Jae, my boy, was very positive about everything.
I LOVE BOTH OF THEM SO MUCH! I also love this segment of Daebak Show coz you got to know the artist deeper and you got to see their outlook in life. It's refreshing and inspiring. Yeah, kids, don't give up!
Just finished the podcast! So good! Jae should def sit in for Eric sometimes. Y'all are so much fun! Jae praising Eric's vocals? Mood! Loved the stories about your parents' reactions to your jobs lol.
honestly i always say this but i feel like jae is that person who’s the best at talking about real life - like things that require open, longer discussions. gotta love jae for that 😔✌️
I like how they talk to each other and what I like the most is (some kind of) a lesson or wisdom(?) that we can get from them. Lol. Thankfully, I've found this kind of show/podcast. I'm actually into The Rose, Day6, BM of KARD, Jackson of Got7, SuJu and BTS. [I hope that everyone can speak english in SuJu and BTS so that I don't need to look into the english subtitle whenever I watch some videos/interviews of them.] 😂

when jae talked about his personal growth in college, that shit hurted ngl
I think Jae really wants to continue his study but he hasn't time for this 🤧
