Actually only Paul flinched. Tommy only moved his head but didnt not throw anything. A reaction to that it is called flinching. Paul instead did throw his arm towards Tommy and therefore Tommy used his reflexes. Different than flinching which is none other than using your reflexes when there is nothing being thrown at you but a pretend movement.
