The reason people love this channel so much is because it it organic and the authenticity of everyone in the climbing crew is amazing to watch. Collaboration is important for sure and never going to be easy to navigate but sponsored content from some business start up was always gonna be a hard sell, and no one enjoys a hard sell. Maybe if you just kept it as a travel vlog.
I realy like that you show us where climbing can bring us; it is not only about hard moves is is about getting to know new places and people. Dont let downlikes stop you! Looking forward to the upcoming videos with magnus and thor!
I don't get all the sudden hate. The man can't make climbing videos every single day guys. Come on, give him som slack. Eric has been working super hard these past years, and even more now I'm sure. One or two different videos shouldn't just make you turn like that. It's now the support is needed, but I guess the community failed as soon something different came. Eric is a genuine and nice person, so like I said, chill out and be supportive.

Cool video series! The concept behind nomad MBA is intriguing, but 11 days seems short? Don't listen to the haters saying that these types of videos aren't interesting. Hopefully you were able to derive some inspiration from the surroundings in Cape Town; it can help when feeling overwhelmed by the existential grind.
I don't usually comment but had to because this seems sponsored and shady. 7.4K euros for 3 months and no reputable degree at the end of it? Maybe not a pyramid scheme but sounds like a scam to me. Very Trump University like but probably not as bad. Unless you were paid to represent them (which should be stated in advance imo), idk why you'd associate with it.

To be honest, this "collab" felt like sponsored content. If it was, you should disclose that in the video or description. Other than that, love your channel!

@@EricKarlsson people have been looking for a program where they pay 7,400 euros (8,400 USD$) for a program that calls itself Nomad MBA, with no Masters of Business Adminstration degree from any reputable institution at the end of the program? This, in all honesty, sounds very slightly better than Trump University.
@@EricKarlsson I think a disclosure on biases or payments would be good for your viewers. Also what kind of people and what SEC of people this program is meant for.
@@eugenejkim I said all this is videon one man, I came into this with the expectation that it may not be what they said and hoping to be proven wrong, I also stated for wich people this program was for, and since I did this collab for people from my channel that have asked for something like this, I did not make any money on this collab. The irony in all of this. Guess communication is something we need to work on.

As others have said, I dislike the slant being put on the 'Nomad MBA'. It is an expensive networking holiday and trying to convey it as a course of genuine academic value seems slightly dishonest. At best it is an overpriced guide to getting started with freelance work, at worst it is an overpriced 'Trump university'-style gimmick aimed at sucking in those working incredibly hard hoping for something better. I feel as a creator you have some responsibility as to what you endorse to your viewers and I think the least you could do was signal to viewers this is sponsored content.
