I love Voiceflow, it's a great platform! I have also connected it to voice services (Twilio). While a Voiceflow bot can be accurate and powerful, the latency is not great for voice communication. Latency is critical with voice, but you edited all that out during the demo. People need to understand the latency part of this before spending a ton of time building something they may find unusable. Also - Bland has PATHWAYS, and Vapi is putting out paths as well.
Yes, I agree. Obviously, before people will actually buy it - they will build and test it, see the latency and decide if it's good enough. From my experience, yes, latency is 80% of success. I have tested Vapi paths and Voiceflow in the current stage. The latency is minimal, but Vapi is a bit faster yes, but it's almost not noticeable. Can't say anything about Bland since don't use it too much. But I think the idea (as with everything in AI) is you must have a specific use case. People nowadays try to put chatbots and Voice AI to all the things where in reality it's not needed. That is why for the most part, I think you should be good with even basic Vapi, Bland or Synthflow functionality. But when you need in depth-conversations (like with a restaurant) where people 100% understand that they talk to AI, they can wait if they get a good answer OR one of the solutions that we built for a wholesaler which is esentially an agent that provide clients information about their accounts... In these complex Queries, I bet my money that nothing will be even close to Vapi + Voiceflow. Not paths, not Bland, nothing. At least on the current stage.

You mean from Voiceflow with VAPI? No. Honestly, I don’t really think that 95% of people should ever use this connection. The delay is still bigger than with only VAPI approach. So like you need to have very, like VERY specific and complex use case to connect it to Voiceflow My opinion

Did you manage to transfer call to human? Voiceflow leading the conversation is working fine but the handoff is not working. Do you have a tip?

Actually not. Vapi is a tool where we set up Transciber for example to deepgram + voice provider (ex elevenlabs).And also what happens after the call.
I worked on it for 3 hours only to find out that it doesn't work, haha.
