@@Hundredsz1 He may have been the one to have brought it to Dutch. But when have the O'Driscolls not tried to kill anyone one of the gang. Especially if it was the boys that were with Colm. Pearson did bring it up, but the whole thing was to timely and precise to be just a moment notice plan.
Micah probably got Pearson to play his game cause Arthur would go along with it. He knows that Arthur doesn't trust Micah's plans so he got someone else to get to Dutch. Micah is very cunning like that.
This is the most tense I’ve ever felt playing a video game, including horror titles. At least in most “scary” games you have complete control over what you’re doing in terms of a meta sense. With this, I had no idea what was going on. “Am I doing this right? Is this even what I’m supposed to do? Can I lose this mission, or is everything pre-determined?” Also, the feeling of all your cores being drained, making everything so disoriented and not having your weapons/items to defend yourself is a very scary feeling indeed.
Oh man, if they're ever gonna do RDR3 then it's gotta be about Dutch or Jack, kinda wanna see what exactly happened with Dutch and Colm, that and what happened to jack after RDR
Let's leave well enough alone, not everything needs explained. Let's have a red dead *insert r word here* with a different gang or character if they make a new title.
Dr. Strangelove it ain't about explaining, it just makes sense and is pretty well set up already. Dutch clearly had a long history even before RDR 2 and Jack has a long road ahead of him now that the cycle of revenge repeated itself, it'd be a crime to just leave either of those plots open aired.
Ramen Lord it would close the wound but then it would get pretty nasty if you didnt clean it afterwards cause of the dead, burnt skin cells and burnt powder residue.
“Mrs. Grimshaw, will you sit with him a while?” Yeah, that’s all he needs, just some rest, and someone to babysit him, no kind of medical attention whatsoever, let’s not even check guys!
I didn't see it, beginning with the fact Dutch was still there and not out looking, and shooting down Pearson's apologies, not apologizing himself, not sitting with him, and it seemed Arthur was not really in the mood for Dutch's 'pretty' words of promising to keep him safe (which was really a lie at that point, considering. Now is not the time to lie to the man, Dutch). Think of how Hosea would have reacted, if he'd been there. Much differently I would imagine. :(
This whole mission feels like the perfect set up to make one more Red Dead prequel. I wanna see Dutch and Hosea when they were young, and Arthur too. Aside from the obvious history that Dutch and Colm have together, I REALLY wanna see a young Arthur interacting with Colm, like maybe as a kid, Arthur was torn between running with Colm or running with Dutch. And then the game ends when they find little John. That's what I'd want in a Read Dead 3.
@Primordial Force The mission style is always the same. Ride somewhere,do some stuff, shootout, escape. What really helps this game is the good dialogue and acting and the many activities you can do in free-roam.
@@table3310 Because i totally said that,mr strawman Even gta 3 managed to have more varied missions than both gta 5 and rdr2,eventhough it had a bad engine, the missions were open-ended and could be done in many ways,rdr2 has missions, that tell you exactly where to go and what to do and where to shoot next,so that everyone has the same scripted experience and once you act a little different, you fail the mission Rockstar never fails to create vivid and gorgeous maps, but then restricts itself with this mission style, imagine if there were more missions like "Get some money" and you could plan a robbery or that mission where they steal the sheep or something else yourself and really act like the secondary leader you are as Arthur, choosing gang members to either come with you or protect the camp, placing them yourself at vital locations and the amount of money you get would totally depend on your own preparation and your thoughts you put into it The current mission style is more like a cinematic movie amd while it is nice to look at,the massive worlds, rockstar creates, are criminally underused that way

14:13 Arthur's voice, Felt anger and dried and a sense of betrayed in a little amount, More or less sounded like a dying Lion, roaring with sheds of wounds.
Idk why but it just warmed my heart because this mission kinda showed how much Arthur really meant to Dutch. Like how worried he was when Arthur arrived at camp and how Colm was talking about how furious Dutch would be when he found out he took Arthur.
You can see the respect Colm had for Arthur offering him to join his side despite obviously being set up. It shows who Arthur is to other gangs like the O’Driscolls since he’s a senior gun with a huge resume.
I knew it was a trap on my first playthrough but when Arthur got captured my heart dropped. And when Arthur got shot with that double-barrel I thought it was over. Then when I saw Colm's face I wanted to kill him so badly but I couldn't. My favorite part was definitely escaping captive.
Why ppl keep saying dutch and micah hate Arthur for the last time dutch does not hate arthur he seen him as a son its his ego who blinded him And Micah who have manipulated Dutch to see Arthur as betrayer
I feel like this encapsulated Arthur’s power for me. Just everything he does seems calculated but on the fly at the same time. Acting on instincts, I guess.

This is the moment I first doubted Dutch. Cause Arthur asks him if he was coming for him. Dutch said yeah by I didn't buy it.
Yeah just like that other mission where dutch left Arthur to get killed in the factory
ihopeutubedies at this point in the game Im sure Dutch would’ve shot up an odriscoll camp by himself to get arthur
At this point in the game he would Côme to save .all things changed for him only after we rescued john as we opposed him
MyFlightYT 3 weeks late but if u talk to him when the cut scenes end . He ask Dutch that question
Me too. I mean He almost didn't realise we are kidnapped and He came back to camp. C'mon Dutch. Arthur is the one of the first and the most important member of the gang with Hosea and you didn't even realise he was gone?
I love the scene when Arthur returns, really made me feel as a player that Arthur being hurt mattered to all these characters that are his family brilliant acting
Except Micah, see 14:30

It was nice of the O'Driscolls to leave Arthur a knife on the table within swinging distance so he could easily escape.
See they're not all that bad they're actually sweethearts lol
I was riding to the camp, and looked on the map how far it was, and I forgot my weapons. So I turned around and Arthur passed out

When you get your guns back you can go into the shed and rob them of some stuff too. It was a huge crate

When the horse takes Arthur home by just him asking with his last strength! - gives me the goosebumps every time.
I know right! I feel like that part really shows how much the horse cared for Arthur and how he still got his rider back home to safety
5:05
It's a small detail but I love how the screen gets pulsating red whenever Arthur is in pain
There's a moment of relief, then pain
Like in real life
Where you hurt yourself and the pain subsides but comes back each time
So you're telling me Arthur got captured, transported, tortured, freed himself and escaped all the way back to camp and none of them even knew where he was. When any other member of the gang is in trouble, Arthur is there before they can blink!
Should've taken Pearson with them. He would've fought like a cornered tiger with that butcher knife and Arthur would never get captured.
This mission made me love my horse more. Then the ending when your horse dies was brutal for me...Tamed and rode with an all black American Standardbred since the beginning of Chapter 2. Rode with it til the end. Even in the beginning of epilogue 1 I got another one exactly the same but just stabled it as a reminder of herr Morgan
I would let my loved horse die so Arthur can meet the horse in the afterlife
I had the same horse from chapter one.. I loved that boah.. and he got shot and died :(
I get the feeling that Micah set this up to get Arthur out of the way. It's clear that he's jealous of Arthur being Dutch's right hand man.
Dude it was Pearsons plan
@@Hundredsz1 He may have been the one to have brought it to Dutch. But when have the O'Driscolls not tried to kill anyone one of the gang. Especially if it was the boys that were with Colm. Plus Micah pushed Dutch to it, and he knew where the meeting was we we didn't even know if Colm agreed to meet. And he told Arthur where to go, before he got caught.
My god, Micah isn't the ultimate mastermind of everything when something goes wrong.💅💅

Arthur was always the one that would be sent out to help everyone else in the gang, but the one time he was the one that needed help.... No one came😔
Yeah, exactly. :(
This is the most tense I’ve ever felt playing a video game, including horror titles. At least in most “scary” games you have complete control over what you’re doing in terms of a meta sense. With this, I had no idea what was going on. “Am I doing this right? Is this even what I’m supposed to do? Can I lose this mission, or is everything pre-determined?”
Also, the feeling of all your cores being drained, making everything so disoriented and not having your weapons/items to defend yourself is a very scary feeling indeed.
Yeah, also i was worried about my horse
“How’s that score you stole off us”
“Which one”
Lmao
A Landon Ricketts in his younger days is what I want to see for RDR3
It should be about Arthur's past
First World War
Whenever a mission starts with the name Micah...you know deep down it's gonna end badly.
Loved that they threw in the gun powder trick.
The SpellNCheck was it to stop infection?
Ramen Lord that and to possibly close an open wound
Ramen Lord it would close the wound but then it would get pretty nasty if you didnt clean it afterwards cause of the dead, burnt skin cells and burnt powder residue.
Ace of Death 02 yeah. Basically something quick if no other medical options were around.
“Mrs. Grimshaw, will you sit with him a while?”
Yeah, that’s all he needs, just some rest, and someone to babysit him, no kind of medical attention whatsoever, let’s not even check guys!
Hosea once said to a drunk bill
“Sleep it off ya drunk”
I felt like dutch wasent coming back for arthur. It just felt weird

Maybe he just thought Arthur went off as he sometimes does, but maybe he just had no idea where to look.
I think Dutch would have
But its possible he just never realized that we was kidnapped
@@friccle_ nah at the time Arthur was loosing hope in Dutch and Dutch was becoming crazy
Where's he gonna look? He doesn't know Arthur was held captive.
I really think Arthur got left for dead here, like in chapter 6. John got left for dead in chapters 4 and 6.
When I got out I made sure to snap all the necks of each patrolling O'Driscoll nearby. I was mad because NOBODY kidnaps Arthur and gets away with it.
I would get a shotgun and shoot their heads
Dutch's reaction breaks my heart, he shows genuine concern here for Arthur to the point where he helped him up himself, #BlameMicah.
@@202cardline Its the inflection in Dutch's, you fail to realize Dutch raised Arthur as a son and even at the end Dutch was hesitent to leave Arthur.
This mission makes me wonder very much on how Red Dead didn’t get GOTY.
Gameplay, probably.
@Primordial Force The mission style is always the same. Ride somewhere,do some stuff, shootout, escape. What really helps this game is the good dialogue and acting and the many activities you can do in free-roam.
bc it won all the catagories maybe
Friedrich II. alias der Große sorry it's not a mission impossible movie where you can just jump on a moving plane
@@table3310 Because i totally said that,mr strawman
Even gta 3 managed to have more varied missions than both gta 5 and rdr2,eventhough it had a bad engine, the missions were open-ended and could be done in many ways,rdr2 has missions, that tell you exactly where to go and what to do and where to shoot next,so that everyone has the same scripted experience and once you act a little different, you fail the mission
Rockstar never fails to create vivid and gorgeous maps, but then restricts itself with this mission style, imagine if there were more missions like "Get some money" and you could plan a robbery or that mission where they steal the sheep or something else yourself and really act like the secondary leader you are as Arthur, choosing gang members to either come with you or protect the camp, placing them yourself at vital locations and the amount of money you get would totally depend on your own preparation and your thoughts you put into it
The current mission style is more like a cinematic movie amd while it is nice to look at,the massive worlds, rockstar creates, are criminally underused that way
1:27 They should have listened to Hosea
In this mission it wasn't you saying "your alright boah" it was your horse
Man author really deserves better, even tho he bad, he still has had a pretty bad life, him and John both choose redemption. And it still is bad. I loose respect for Dutch every mission cu author keeps telling him he doing wrong.

14:13 Arthur's voice, Felt anger and dried and a sense of betrayed in a little amount, More or less sounded like a dying Lion, roaring with sheds of wounds.
