In this video, we'll explore Billionaires' Row of Mexico City, one of the most wealthiest areas in the city.
This tour of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in Mexico City will take you on a journey through some of the most luxurious and exclusive neighbourhoods in the city. You'll see some of the best museums and restaurants in the city, all while learning about the history of Billionaires' Row and the people who live there. Don't miss this opportunity to see Mexico City from a new perspective!
Polanco, located in Mexico City, is often referred to as the Beverly Hills of Mexico, with a reputation as an upscale and exclusive neighborhood where the richest people in the city live. However, my recent visit to Polanco proved that this perception is not entirely accurate.
First of all, let me say that the architecture and design of the neighborhood is truly breathtaking. The streets are lined with elegant colonial-style homes and tree-lined boulevards that make for a picturesque stroll. But what I found most impressive was the abundance of cultural and recreational activities available in Polanco.
One of the most notable highlights of my visit was the array of world-class restaurants in the area. The dining scene in Polanco is truly impressive, with a wide variety of cuisines on offer, from traditional Mexican to contemporary international fare. Many of the restaurants are housed in beautiful and historic buildings, making the dining experience all the more special.
In addition to the great food, Polanco also offers a variety of cultural attractions, such as the Museum of Anthropology and the Tamayo Museum. The neighborhood is also home to the Chapultepec Park, which is the largest city park in Latin America and offers a variety of outdoor activities, including walking, jogging, and bike riding.
Polanco is also home to several luxury shopping areas, such as the Presidente Masaryk Avenue, which offers designer boutiques and high-end department stores. The area also offers a variety of luxury hotels, such as the Four Seasons and the St. Regis, making it a great option for travelers looking for a luxurious vacation.
In conclusion, Polanco may have a reputation as an exclusive and wealthy neighborhood, but my visit to the area showed me that there is much more to discover. From the beautiful architecture and tree-lined streets, to the incredible food and cultural attractions, Polanco is a neighborhood that offers something for everyone. It's not only for the rich and famous, but also for those looking for a unique and delightful experience in Mexico City.

Being Mexico the 15th largest economy in the world, hosting the 2nd largest annual book fair on earth (after Frankfurt's) and having organized the 1968 Olympic Games, (way before many developed countries did) and the soccer World Cup not once but two times (and going for the third one), why would anyone be surprised?... unless you are the kind that thinks the Japanese wear kimonos to work, Moroccans ride camels in Casablanca or that Danes wear horned helmets (I was in Copenhagen and believe me, they don't!).

Millionaires don't live in that neighborhood any more (that was the case back in the 40s and 50s). They moved west but now they just go shopping there. It's the upper-middle class who live in Polanco now, which is different than being a millionaire.

I’d say it’s popular for rich young people who move from the uber-rich neighborhoods in the western part of the city, because they want to be closer to the nightlife and everything. But they do eventually move out to start families.

Attention United States citizens: Polanco is the Beverly Hills of Mexico City! The entire city really surprised us in the most positive ways possible. As Americans, we *love* Mexico City for its vibrancy, clean gardens and plazas, ease of getting around (metros, busses, and Uber), delicious dining options, access to healthy foods + inexpensive fruits & vegetables, spectacular health care for foreigners, and, obviously, the low cost of living, even in one of the biggest metropolitan cities in the world! Try getting a cappuccino at a cute garden cafe in downtown Los Angels for $2.50 - but it’s absolutely possible in Mexico City 🤩 Shout out to La Ventanita Cafe in Roma Norte, a lush oasis in the heart of the city ☕️🌳✌️

@@joenandamalie Great video! But Palacio de Hierro is not really a mall. It's a luxury department store like Harrods in London or Bergdorf Goodman in New York City. Mexico City does have many beautiful malls, though. My personal favorite is Artz Pedregal. Check it out, it's gorgeous. Also, go visit the Liverpool department store on Avenida Insurgentes. It has a beautiful ultramodern exterior design that illuminates at night.

You should come northern Mexico like Chihuahua City, Monterrey, Hermosillo, La Paz, Saltillo, etc.
Northern Mexico is the wealthiest part of Mexico and with less poverty (except border cities) but is not very touristy, it’s the industrial region of Mexico but has many interesting things to see and the culture is pretty different from central and southern Mexico.

I don't mind. Sometimes when cooks are cooking, it is cleaner for your food to not get whatever comes from people's mouths, as they prepare your food. You know kitchen staff communicates with each other. Same as when waiters are serving food, and talking to you at the same time, because you may have asked them a question.
