Lyrics:
Combust, the opulence of all the human faults in flames
You've killed, but you see yourself for real in here
The serpent
Black god
The north star of Nija
Don't cry, you'll see what you want to see
Charcoal crown, the leviathan of all the things we thought we heard
Of all there is to see
Don’t cry, you are here where you need to be
Don't cry, you’ll be the one that you need to kill
You'll follow me
To the somewhere between, in the darkest of nights
There's something to see, in the circles of the light
In the deepest of dreams, I can see the flash coming down on thee
Cause the weight of this world, now won't slow us down
But I don't know how long, so you better go now
Before I'll show you what's coming
Adjust the ornament, to fit the true king of our realm
You bow to a darker power that’s real in here
The serpent
The black god
The north star of Nija
I've lived through some grey days
But I've never really given it a thought
How I live, how it's feasting on me
How it's taking me
Don’t cry, you are here where you need to be
Don't cry, you’ll be the one that you need to kill
You'll follow me.
To the somewhere between, in the darkest of nights
There's something to see, in the circles of the light
In the deepest of dreams, I can see the flash coming down on thee
Cause the weight of this world, now won't slow us down
But I don't know how long, so you better go now
Before I'll show you what's coming
I'm the leader of all that's dead
I'm the crows that you witness next
I'm the leech that steals from the mother's breast
I'm the serpent in hell
Fighting, surviving for life
No one will ever see the truth
Leaving the world to die
No one will ever see the truth
Fighting, surviving for life
No one will ever see the truth
Leaving the world to die
No one will ever see the truth
You'll stay here for a long time
You'll dry your tears from off your face, but you can't look back now
You'll fade away
I'm the reason for all that's been
I'm the cross-bearer of all of human race
I'm the kingpin of all your hate
I'm the serpent in hell
I'm the serpent of all
A serpent of all
I've sent down the crows to hell
To gather the bones of you
I’ve given the piece of skin
To the gods of the broken man
I am complete
I've sent down the crows to hell
To gather the bones of you
I’ve given the piece of skin
To the gods of the broken man
I am complete

These guys are gonna be the next metal titans. I can see them up there with Gojira and Lamb of God in the next few years
They're better already imo, gojira went kinda shitty and LOG has always been over rated.
I really want the 'tallica boy to invite them on a tour, just like when Ozzy invited them to go with him. The rest is history
@@AyZeD gojira went shitty? smokin crack lol?
@@Bezoldz the albums after TWoAF aren't as good. There is a new album coming though and the singles sound alright, so we'll see how that goes
Good god people still listen to Lamb Of God...? They've always been overrated. "Good" band when you're 12 and know nothing about music.
These guys are carrying the future of metal on their shoulders. Absolute Badass's
Imagine these guys opening for Gojira. Sploosh
Right! This is the future. Fresh & heavy!
How so?
Damn Right !
Gojira
I swear drummers don’t get enough credit. This dude destroys the double bass and it’s not easy!
You can see the pain in his face get stronger as the song keeps going because his legs are giving out from the crazy bpm he's been putting down throughout the whole song lol
Christopher nails it every time
MY TAKE:
Orbit Culture is the incarnation of NEXT LEVEL MUSICIANSHIP.
I hail from 1969 and as a musician, guitar player I have seen decades of changes and thousands of new bands and genre after genre evolve into present day.
Orbit Culture has a formula that is beautifully complex, percussive, theatrical, HUGE story telling as if every single track was created for a movie soundtrack. The vocals would make James Hetfield grin for sure! The power behind the vocals is different in that, they are inflective and not mush, they are skull crushing and yet heart warming. Brilliant.
The guitars are rad af, percussive, creative, staccato, melodic and meaningful. Not a note too much or too less. Perfect!
Bass is HUGE and it’s such a pleasure to ‘feel’ the bass driving through the tunes and at time the bass is incredibly amplified which again, is a delight!
The drums. The drums… there is a beautiful balance of driving beats that keep the listener movin’ and the added intricacies of speed and 64th notes are incredible. There is a huge level of creativity here!
The production is incredible. Absolutely brilliant and enormous. Nothing was left on the table and it clearly shows in each track. UNREAL!
Overall, I feel Orbit Culture is my new favorite band of ALL genres.
I encourage everyone to listen to Orbit Culture’s Next Level Melodic Death Metal as it is pure life for many a listener.
#1
You are not wrong at all!! I am literally going to Machine Head just to see them. They are the 2nd band on the line up, and then Fear Factory follows them. I literally am there just to see them.
I completely agree, There’s just something so ethereal about this band I love it so much.
Saw them live at a small club in Seattle it was epic!
After 3 years, i'm commenting again: This guys are fucking perfect! What an amazing performance, specially Chris! He's literally wiped but still going like hell! 03:30
I just can't get over how fucking brutal the scream at 3:19 is
Gave me fking goosebumps ahahaha Just found them 3 days ago, it's so damm good I'm fking addicted! \m/
I really feel and hear the essence of Mikael Akerfeldt's growls, in his golden age.
This is a guttural growl. There's absolutely no screaming involved
Gentlemen, every damn song is a masterpiece and the live shit is spot on!
agree
🙋♂️👌👊
that drummer, woah
where the hell has this band been my whole life
3:20 goddamn those guttural vocals are insane!
2:30 - Happy drummer ))))))
I love that metal survived as a genre and that it is still played with this much ferocity.
The drum became a fucking Formula 1 with this guy. The best band I discovered in the past few years
I discovered Orbit Culture and Gojira the last few months...they reached my TOP metal bands man...
I’m not a gojira fan but you just discovered them? They’ve been around forever and toured the world for years. How is that possible?
@@GeorgeZimmermen Metal bands except Metallica, Iron Maiden etc. have a small following compared to mainstream pop and indie artists so it's not that uncommon to not have heard of them. I myself also discovered Gojira years after starting listening to Metallica and Megadeth...
@@exumaan2512 I watched gojira open up for Metallica in October 2009 and I knew who they were before that. Fairly large name in the metal community if you don’t only listen to dad metal from the 80’s.
I honestly thourght there were 2 vocalists going just from the audio, one clean and one growly.
I just seen them with Avatar in Dallas and I'm a fan now
Niklas always has the coolest jackets. The video is super cool, I hope to have the opportunity to see this band live one day!
When I am sad, I turn on this song and understand that life is beautiful!
Thank You, I love an honest awesome human reaction.
I don't see how they have not blown the fuck up in the metal community yet. The best music to be made in years hell ever and the tightness of their playing is unmatched.
2:44 that “darkest of nights!” Was a little different from the first one and it is so good I love it.
This song needs more credit 🤘
This band needs more credit
@@Justiceforall55 very much so, but of the people who enjoy the band, even they don't mention this song though in my opinion lol. Either way around these guys need more credit
I fucking love this!
Turn it up!
I've seen them in a small club in Leipzig opening a little but fine show. But... in my opinion, they should have headlined this show, and many others in big venues. They kick ass and play in the same league like Lamb of God and others. THE metal band of the coming years.
dude, where, when??? I wanna at least cry over the missed opportunity. hellraiser? which main act?
cheers from connewitz :)
@@dustrider9306 it was in Naumann's / Felsenkeller 21. September 2019. They opened for Rivers Of Nihil. You missed something.. :-)
Cant waith to see this Sweden band in tuska festial 2023🤘
I've watched this like a hundred times now, and everytime the drummer is smiling, i just have to smile too
HOLY... THAT WAS PHENOMENAL. Music is better than ever.. And this vocalist is beyond perfect!!!!
Damn this song slaps hard.
this awakens something so primal in me.
Is this really the live sound? Holy hell!
Amazing song and that bit from 3:20 is brutal!
These guys are effing dreamboats
Dear lord, imagine the pits live 🤯🤘
I can't for Covid to end so I can go start one!
☠️🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I seen these last week supporting Sylosis and can confirm the pits are amazing 😍
Saw them a few months ago. They are unreal live!
I was in one!!! It was nuts!
1:47 Saw them front row . This is my favorite song from them Amazing !!!❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
bro 1:35 ... that riffffffffffffffffffffff
I wish you guys could see my 3 year daughter jamming this. It’s awesome/hilarious. Cheers to the future!
DOUBLE BASS
Nija guides me through life
God damn they're so fucking good.
Thumbs up, always, the heavier, the better
I don't think you guys have ever made a bad song.
Drummer is a badass
god that looked fun
Finally found a modern metal band I like 😭🙏🏽
Niklas smile at the beginning is so perfect. You can tell he loves playing this song.
This shit just hits so much deeper once you've hooked in live. The lyrics are clearer and my heart is tuned in. Cathartic Cult Ritual. T'was a Silver Spring.
Unreal growls, such power.
Those goosebumps at 3:15
That growl was FILTHY
Major Trivium vibes. This is epic.
R.I.P. drummer
I freaking LOVE this band.. I wish they'd all come to Vegas and live with me and serenade me all day and night with their amazing music
This band is so damn amazing. I’d be happy as hell if they did a US tour!
Kinda bummed i am just now finding out about these guys, and i just missed a US tour! Come back soon!!
This band is so damn underrated, they're amazing!
3:19 was really sick
One of the most refreshing bands i discovered the last years
Hope to see you live once this bullshit is finally over
Keep up the great work 👌
I don’t know how I missed not hearing these gents. I’ve become an instant fan. Hard, heavy, in your face metal 🤘🏼🤘🏼
A year after hearing this song I still love it.
How does Sweden keep shooting out amazing heavy metal??
We are good in music :D
Orbit culture and Avatar are some of the best band out there🤘🏼
@@emilebouchard9682 amon amarth too :)
And Sabaton, Arch Enemy.. Meshuggah.. Avatar.. Dark Tranquillity and the list goes on and on
I went to Sweden back in 2012. I think everyone I met knew someone in a metal band. A guy stopped me when I had my Amon Amarth shirt on. "Hey, Johan's parents are my neighbors!". On one of my last days over there, I said something about Soilwork to a girl I was working with. She dug out her cellphone and was trying to call her old classmate Bjorn Speed but he didn't answer.
Just discovered them this week and goddamn boys!
Metal community, we are finally back!!! If you know what I mean!!!! lml
0:27 dinosaurs are real? Anyway, this song is completely bonkers and awesome off the charts!
His cleans really remind me of James Hetfield, not a bad thing at all! Wicked song btw 🤘
Absolutely !
You can definitely see Hetfield's influence!
@@chrishopkinson9434 It's like a beautiful blend of Metallica, Trivium and Gojira
Hetfield's lost child lol
@@jackasmaracas4362 And like Fear Factory or something like that with all that industrial chugging haha.
Nija is by far my favorite release this year.
And when all the touring starts up again, I am going to bug Kevin at The Machineshop to get these guys when they do a US tour.
Insanely good and one of the best bands out there right now!
The guitar riff is amazing at 3:15,stops the whole motion so you hear the riff only before everything kicks back in
Nija is what i will remember 2020 for.
His dirty vocals are absolutely MADDENINGLY BRUTAL, holy FUCK
Orbit is everything
MASSIVE! THE HEAVINESS IS STRONG IN THIS!! Ola would be proud to see his SOLAR guitar getting a pounding too!!
This band has grown a lot since their first work
Just had the honor of seeing these guys with In Flames. Let’s just say I haven’t stopped listening to these guys since. An amazing band!
These guys have to be the best metal band we've got at the moment.
...and GAEREA!
@@D3ADPO3TRY damn, they're pretty brutal. That's a total onslaught!
So nice to see Sid Wilson watching guys right behind their shoulders 🥲🥰
This is the best thing i've probably ever heard. You guys are just pure amazing, holy shit. I am really hard to impress and my jaw just dropped and i can't stop listening to your music. Does not matter which song it is, just fucking ey awesome.
Yes!! this!
In his last birth the drummer was surely a football player
A new genre "Freight Train Metal"
This song has changed me as a person. The meaning behind it came just in time.
the guy on drums is a beast, fking love it😈
I love those gutteral growls, reminds me of Parkway Drive before they started towards radio friendly material...
Solars and dingwalls preety sick
Hell yeah!
The best metal band in years! Can't stop listening to their albums. Awesome band!
Seeing these guys supporting Trivium in Liverpool later this year! Cannot wait!
Lamb of Amarth
Fuck sakes.. The energy these guys BRING! 🤯😈
🔥🔥😤let’s fucking gooooo
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeess!! The fucking metal we all want! I got goosebumps. In mää bollen i mpl
I wish I heard about these guys sooner. I was trying (unsuccessfully) to get into Fear Factory's newest release and heard Dino mention these guys in an interview. *This* is what I envisioned that evolution to sound like
That slide from "clean" into growl in the second chorus is pretty amazing. It's so impressive in Mirrorslave as well, but hearing it performed live...damn.
I love the hugeness of all these songs so much.
These guys are incredible. I saw them with Avatar and was blown away by how good they are.
These guys are exploding!!! And the world isn't ready for this Supernova of metal...Don't Cry!!!!
I saw you guys on a tour in Philly this year and it's so damn powerful your songs I completly fell in love with this band hope to see you again in here
3:19 awesome!
Camera mans a beast not heading banging once to keep the camera straight
This band is so underrated idk. Listened to one song, and now its my favorite band!
I'm hoping to find their cds, I really like their music 🤘🤘🤘
That's some good fuckin shit right there. Hell yeah!
Love to see solar guitars again , and yes they are going to be uge! Jason’s Momoa little brother is getting it done!absolutely love Niklas vocals , clean to scream
