      @@ruksanabegum9085 its actually worse, back then it was one umah, rn it’s countries making it legal to same gender marriage etc, either way it’s still haram, you should follow what the Quran says because it’s the haq(truth) for us believers

    • @mmmmmmmmw985
      @mmmmmmmmw985 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Saba Shaikh What is haram about it. You acknowledge the LGBTQ community isn't comparable to the nation of Lut. So, what is haram about it? Is it that people who happen to be homosexuals exist? You should know people can't control their own sexuality, it is simply something they are born with. So apparently it is a sin to exist and just so happen to be born with a preference for gender? The only reasonable reason why a person's attraction to something should be looked down upon is if the object of attraction cannot consent. That means attraction to animals, children, and other parties that cannot consent to either a romantic or sexual relationship cannot morally exist, and that is the way it should be. And if you look down upon it simply because it is deemed as sin in Islam, then great for you, you don't support gay people. However, just because of your personal beliefs, doesn't mean you should shame or force others to not be gay. It is not your business that other people live their lives as homosexuals, let people follow their own beliefs.

    • @mmmmmmmmw985
      @mmmmmmmmw985 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Saba Shaikh I understand that, but I feel like it's harmful to not support homosexuality. Many gay people have a history of being killed and persecuted simply because they are gay. My point of view about it is that a person should support gay people because that is what is needed to recover from the past and support them through the present persecution that many are often facing. There are many gay people who have grown up with self-hatred because of the demonization gay people have been subjected to. Only now we can end that with more progressive values in the media supporting gay people. I'm sorry if I come off as undermining your religious values, it's simply my perspective.

      @@mmmmmmmmw985 should we also support incest? intercourse with animals? pedofilia? or marrying dead people? With your logic you SHOULD support them 100%. Because if they love each other who has the right to say no to these people? Tell me where do you draw the line what is right and wrong?

    Although I was born muslim 19 years ago, Ive never practiced or learnt my religion correctly, I have been acting upon homosexual tendencies despite knowing it was forbidden and I'm so upset that I let myself commit such disgusting acts. I know Allah is the most merciful and will forgive upon sincere repentance. I don't know what my next move should be however, am I to marry a woman and keep my inner identity hidden?

    • @Muslim-og3vc
      @Muslim-og3vc 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes and hide your lgbt identity and feel shame from it and practicing what is lawful between your lawful spouse

    • @riaz.r_
      @riaz.r_ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Brother, like you said Allah is most Merciful and will always accept your repentance so long as you are sincere and you acknowledge the fact that the act is sinful; have full confidence in Allah knowing He will forgive you and don't let guilt for your past sins define you.
      Moving forward, it's best to delete this comment and hide your sin that Allah has concealed for you because there are hadith which say Allah will forgive the believers for any and all of their sins so long as they do not do it publicly or openly. So delete the comment, and in future don't speak openly about your previous sins and hide them - instead use your time to repent, knowing confidently that if you are sincere Allah will grant you the mercy and forgiveness that you seek.
      Also, I myself am not in a position to answer your specific question so it would be better to ask a scholar of Islam (phrase the question in third person so you aren't exposing yourself for your sin) about whether it's permissible to marry a spouse despite your inner desires. If not, remaining celibate is always an option. And if you are struggling to control your desires, it is advised to fast regularly - Mondays and Thursdays are the sunnah.
      And though it might be difficult, remember that Allah loves you more than you can ever imagine, this is a test from Allah and Allah tests the ones He loves the most. In sha Allah you will be rewarded so immensely for this test in the akhirah, because you abstained from your desires solely for Allah's sake.
      May Allah keep us firm upon the straight path and make it easy for you Ameen.

      @CAN No not in Islam

    • @riaz.r_
      @riaz.r_ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @CAN No Within Islam it is not permissible. If somebody is homosexual but does not act on their desires, then there is no blame on that person and they receive no punishment for it (in fact they get reward for their abstinence). Alternatively, if they commit the act anyway then they are sinful, but so long as they acknowledge the fact it is a sin within Islam, then they can still repent and seek Allah's mercy and forgiveness and they are still a Muslim.
      HOWEVER if they commit the act AND try to justify it as morally permissible within Islam, then this can take that person outside of the fold of Islam and is a very major sin. This is not allowed.

      Salam brother Hamza.
      What you have done is between you and Allah swt.
      You do not need to express your sins to any person, not even your future spouse. Turn to Allah and do tauba- have shame for the act, say you won't commit it again and ask Allah for forgiveness. These are the conditions of tauba. Allah will wipe your slate clean and direct you towards the right path. Keep asking Him for help. He is there and He is listening. He loves you no matter how many sins you have committed. He is there waiting for you to turn to him. So turn to him and there is nothing you should be afraid of.
      Duas for you.

    Alhamdulillah we have learned so much from the stories of the Prophets so far may peace be upon them all, and in sha Allah more lessons to come and looking forward for them may Allah grant us all the will and deeper understanding. Although may i ask u Mufti Menk, because right after this video it goes to Nabi Yaqub AS, why aren’t there more stories and lessons at least 1 or 2 more topics from Prophets Ismail and Ishak AS..?
