@gotbeefbattles iphone 4 shoots in HD too... but it's not really the video quality that lets these battles down. The audience wasn't reactive, which always hurts the performer. The audio, which you're aware of, so doesn't need another mention. The angle from behind the performs wasn't a good idea. Just having one angle makes it feel a bit lackluster (over the shoulder close ups over the wide 2shot anyday!). I think the more intimate environment of 2 mc's on ground, circled by audience is best :)
Going from spending all night watching KOTD battles, to this - slight difference. Let's get a decent intro set up, with some actually decent intro music, some consistency with the lay out of each video, and a recording microphone that works. iPhone 4 camera > what was used here. Just my 2 cents. Quality battle though.
decoy is a pretty poor host, i have respect for him for organising this shit but getting an emcees name wrong at the start of a battle is just unacceptable. he also fucks up when timing rounds and counting which round they are up to quite often. it's really not a hard job
