I failed to get this one :( I felt the actual killer was too obvious, he felt to glib actually telling the inspector that he had a good motive to kill Hurst and then the fire escape went too far. It felt like I was being guided down the wrong path. Whodunnits aren't supposed to use a sledgehammer, they're supposed to be subtle. It's always the character you see once or twice at the the beginning and then avoids the camera as much as they can (unless an actor is particularly well known, then it'll be them) I thought it was Mr Rushworth on behalf of Mrs Hurst. Grass stains on Mr Rushworth's shoes would have proven that he went outside and since it was established that he and the victim wore the same size shoes.... Anyway, I'm now 3 for 5. I was doing so well with the first three, not only picking the killer but working out the entire plot. Now my score has taken a drastic downturn. Anyway. Thanks for posting these. I'd been hoping some one would post them ever since TH-cam became a thing. Next I'd like to find Masterspy or was it called Spymaster I forget.
I don’t understand the grass part with the 1 shoe ?, and I was confused on the fire escape part does it go to the top or not because the aldulterer could have been up there waiting with his voice from the recorder bing played then comes back down has grassy shoes and for some reason swaps 1 shoe ? So the man never went up the stairs if he is thrown from the office ? But we clearly see him go up the stairs ?
the answers to the clues are a nonsence im watching this in 2020 otherwise i would phone up and complain.what was all that rubbish about weed killer and grass on the shoe?
I believe offering weed killer as a prize was the epitome of this episode😂😂
39:19 quite simple when you know ? He told me the answer and it still doesn’t make sense 😆
Amis and Russell Hunter. Would love to have been a runner on this show.
Good to see John Lennon taking part in the audience
And Ray Davies playing the copper.
Those prizes look like a car boot sale!
I’ve watched 3 of these and the people all take the tape recorder

The next episode he makes a comment that some of the things you hear are lies so I guess ppl did call up and complain
Woodward was wholly inappropriate for compering this show. Very staid and awkward.
