I guarantee you all. Ryan Murphy has this planned out. He's in it for the long haul. 9-1-1 will end with Eddie and Buck together. That's why none of the female love interests never plan out. Nobody will ever love Christopher as much as Buck does. Love and sexuality are fluid, and Murphy loves exploring that.
Watching Buck and Eddie is like watching a cartoon tunnel being painted on the side of a boulder but we're just driving towards it anyway hoping for the best.

I swear, I have never seen a couple as true and natural as theirs. Their eyes when they are together....gosh. They balance each other and complete each other. The love is already obvious...no sex is need...just their love. And Christopher is the catalyst. They both love him unconditionally and he loves them. Their are his parents. So, it's a real love story...no bromance...love story.
I think it’s probably got to happen by accident. One of them falls on the other one by accident and their lips inadvertently press together. Then they both get up and apologize, awkward and look very embarrassed. Then immediately walk in opposite directions, but then both of them stop out of sight of each other. Eddie reaches up and just puts one finger on his lower lip and looks confused and then slightly shakes his head. Buck does the same exact thing. Maybe they don’t talk to each other for the rest of the day, but they’re thinking about that lip thing that HAPPENED. But they are both secure, so they are NOT torn up about it, or grossed out or any of that shit. Then for the next few days, they’re still not really talking to each other, except about Christopher, but not because they’re mad. They’re a little confused. But Buck keeps catching Eddie staring. And Eddie keeps catching Buck staring. And the rest of the team catches both of them staring. But the team thinks, “Oh, man, they’re fighting again.“ How does that sound? If they let me write an outline for an episode, that’s what I would write for them. It’s going to have to take some time. They can’t just be jumping each other‘s bones in episode 4! But in the meantime, we get to enjoy their “Bromance +”!

Regarding fanfiction, I’m not any kind of a playwright or screenwriter or fiction/fanfiction writer or ANYTHING. Some of my comments and replies just tend to be long. I start out just wanting to say a couple little things. Then I start tweaking and adding/subtracting bits. Editing. After awhile, I scroll and discover that I’ve got five paragraphs worth of words. Ridiculous. (Including this time. Jesus.) Sometimes I’ll just think of a little scene or even a moment that I would like to see. Then I just ask myself, “How could that work? Could it be done in a way that would seem feasible and real, not contrived and fake?” (I wrote a short scene once where Batman and Superman kissed each other. Yes on the lips. Yes they lingered. And the scene WORKED, at least for me.) In the case of Buck and Eddie, I have imagined them, like SO many fans here, connecting in a romantic way SO many times. But everybody says, “Just kiss already.“ Or “It’s OBVIOUS that they’re supposed to be together.“ Or “The way they look at each other, THAT’S LOVE.“ Really? Please. In my head, I challenged all those people. OK, fine. WRITE IT. Not just for you, but for everybody, including non-queer fans. It has to make sense for the characters and it must be believable. I don’t care if the show’s writers have been teasing SOMETHING for months, keeping both Buck and Eddie out of ANY relationships with women. Not to mention the scene where the “Christmas lady“ perceives both Buck and Eddie to be gay. Instead of correcting her, Buck just says, “thank you.“ Then, much later, the scene where TK perceives Buck to be gay AND assumes that Buck is asking him on a date. Buck pauses and blows the chance (pun intended) to correct TK. So I said what the hell and just tried to write one short scene or arc to their storyline to see if I could make that first physical connection work for ME. I think I did ok. Just ok. I hope it’s believable. I hope it makes sense for the characters. I hope it’s not too cliché. I hope it’s funny. (If nothing else, Buck and Eddie together are just FUNNY.) If anyone is at all entertained by it, then that’s a bonus. OK. I’m shutting up now. BE SAFE. Peace… ✌️

I almost lost hope for those 2 (3 Including Christopher), but yesterday I was re-watching some of the episodes and I swear that I got to think about this 2 instances 7:15 and 7:23 and realized that Eddie practically confessed his love for Buck and Buck to Eddie. I just don't get how all of the parallels with Eddie and Shannon''s relationship and Eddie and Buck's relationship could be an accident? This excellent video highlighted them perfectly, but to recap- Although both Buck and Shannon "abandoned" and betrayed Eddie and Christopher, Eddie was able to trust/forgive Buck so quickly but really struggled to do it with Shannon. Also Buck and Eddie are always shown to have each others backs, when Shannon felt like Eddie never had hers. Also just like hints with Buck talking about how attractive Eddie is multiple times, not correcting someone who thought they were a couple, and Maddie making jokes about them being a couple. HOW COULD THIS BE UNINTENTIONAL?! EDIT: Re-watching this a year later and I have a lot more compassion for Shannon. I still ship Eddie/Buck (send help) but Shannon had a rough life- she was (essentially) a single mother with a young child with cerebral palsy and I'll never understand how hard that is... I don't blame her for her actions and appreciate her TRYING to do her best to have a relationship with Christopher, within the guidelines of his father/legal guardian, before she (MAJOR SPOILER!!!!) died.
@@lauratroy13 eddie also abandoned his son when he went to afghanistan and re enlisted instead of going home after his tour because he was afraid to deal with christopher's diagnosis. shannon had left to care for her mother but didn't come back immediately. they were both at fault. eddie is nowhere near better than shannon and shannon does not deserve the hate she gets. she and eddie are not a perfect fit but they are great parents with flaws. if anything buck is a better parent than the both of them. both eddie and shannon left christoper with the other so I don't get how shannon is the bad guy. why ? because eddie leaving christopher with shannon happened off screen ?

While Shannon just fucked off without plan, abandoned her son, she had no contact with them for years. The show practically confirmed it in an episode where the vlogger girl was squeezing out a pimple and a maggot came out. When buck and eddie looked at the camera, there was a comment saying that they looked cute together or something like that that assumed they were a couple or shipped them.

They balance each other and complete each other. The love is already obvious...no sex is need...just their love. And Christopher is the catalyst. They both love him unconditionally and he loves them. Their are his parents. So, it's a real love story...no bromance...love story.

I think it’s probably got to happen by accident. One of them falls on the other one by accident and their lips inadvertently press together. Then they both get up and apologize, awkward and look very embarrassed. Then immediately walk in opposite directions, but then both of them stop out of sight of each other. Eddie reaches up and just puts one finger on his lower lip and looks confused and then slightly shakes his head. Buck does the same exact thing.
Maybe they don’t talk to each other for the rest of the day, but they’re thinking about that lip thing that HAPPENED. But they are both secure, so they are NOT torn up about it, or grossed out or any of that shit. Then for the next few days, they’re still not really talking to each other, except about Christopher, but not because they’re mad. They’re a little confused. But Buck keeps catching Eddie staring. And Eddie keeps catching Buck staring. And the rest of the team catches both of them staring. But the team thinks, “Oh, man, they’re fighting again.“
How does that sound? If they let me write an outline for an episode, that’s what I would write for them. It’s going to have to take some time. They can’t just be jumping each other‘s bones in episode 4! But in the meantime, we get to enjoy their “Bromance +”!

Regarding fanfiction, I’m not any kind of a playwright or screenwriter or fiction/fanfiction writer or ANYTHING. Some of my comments and replies just tend to be long. I start out just wanting to say a couple little things. Then I start tweaking and adding/subtracting bits. Editing. After awhile, I scroll and discover that I’ve got five paragraphs worth of words. Ridiculous. (Including this time. Jesus.)
Sometimes I’ll just think of a little scene or even a moment that I would like to see. Then I just ask myself, “How could that work? Could it be done in a way that would seem feasible and real, not contrived and fake?” (I wrote a short scene once where Batman and Superman kissed each other. Yes on the lips. Yes they lingered. And the scene WORKED, at least for me.)
In the case of Buck and Eddie, I have imagined them, like SO many fans here, connecting in a romantic way SO many times. But everybody says, “Just kiss already.“ Or “It’s OBVIOUS that they’re supposed to be together.“ Or “The way they look at each other, THAT’S LOVE.“ Really? Please. In my head, I challenged all those people. OK, fine. WRITE IT. Not just for you, but for everybody, including non-queer fans. It has to make sense for the characters and it must be believable.
I don’t care if the show’s writers have been teasing SOMETHING for months, keeping both Buck and Eddie out of ANY relationships with women. Not to mention the scene where the “Christmas lady“ perceives both Buck and Eddie to be gay. Instead of correcting her, Buck just says, “thank you.“ Then, much later, the scene where TK perceives Buck to be gay AND assumes that Buck is asking him on a date. Buck pauses and blows the chance (pun intended) to correct TK. So I said what the hell and just tried to write one short scene or arc to their storyline to see if I could make that first physical connection work for ME.
I think I did ok. Just ok. I hope it’s believable. I hope it makes sense for the characters. I hope it’s not too cliché. I hope it’s funny. (If nothing else, Buck and Eddie together are just FUNNY.) If anyone is at all entertained by it, then that’s a bonus. OK. I’m shutting up now.

I just don't get how all of the parallels with Eddie and Shannon''s relationship and Eddie and Buck's relationship could be an accident? This excellent video highlighted them perfectly, but to recap- Although both Buck and Shannon "abandoned" and betrayed Eddie and Christopher, Eddie was able to trust/forgive Buck so quickly but really struggled to do it with Shannon. Also Buck and Eddie are always shown to have each others backs, when Shannon felt like Eddie never had hers.
Also just like hints with Buck talking about how attractive Eddie is multiple times, not correcting someone who thought they were a couple, and Maddie making jokes about them being a couple. HOW COULD THIS BE UNINTENTIONAL?!
EDIT: Re-watching this a year later and I have a lot more compassion for Shannon. I still ship Eddie/Buck (send help) but Shannon had a rough life- she was (essentially) a single mother with a young child with cerebral palsy and I'll never understand how hard that is... I don't blame her for her actions and appreciate her TRYING to do her best to have a relationship with Christopher, within the guidelines of his father/legal guardian, before she (MAJOR SPOILER!!!!) died.
I ship them too, but it's understandable that he couldn't forgive Shannon that easy. She literally abandoned her own son
@@lauratroy13 eddie also abandoned his son when he went to afghanistan and re enlisted instead of going home after his tour because he was afraid to deal with christopher's diagnosis. shannon had left to care for her mother but didn't come back immediately. they were both at fault. eddie is nowhere near better than shannon and shannon does not deserve the hate she gets. she and eddie are not a perfect fit but they are great parents with flaws. if anything buck is a better parent than the both of them. both eddie and shannon left christoper with the other so I don't get how shannon is the bad guy. why ? because eddie leaving christopher with shannon happened off screen ?

While Shannon just fucked off without plan, abandoned her son, she had no contact with them for years. Eddie definitely was still interested in his family and son, never felt like that from her side after she left

I love this video and all the parallelism between Eddie and his wife and Eddie and Buck. I love how difficult is for Eddie to forgive his wife even knowing that he did the same to Christopher when he enlisted another time to aboid return home. But he is capable of forgive absolutly everything to Buck almost inmediatly aboid Christopher almost die when he is with Buck the day of the tsunami.
