Ring in the New Year with a 12-Month 2024 Year in Review of Giga Texas!

- This video attempts to cover 12 months of extreme changes, additions, construction & more at Giga Texas. 2024 was truly a big year of changes and it is important, I think, to recap all of this to better understand why I think 2025 will be such a breakout year for Tesla.
Many new production, manufacturing processes, the strong shift towards AI, a huge Cortex Datacenter addition, Robotaxi's becoming a reality & humanoid robotics all are planned in the new year, but all of this was set into motion with what you see in 2024 unfolding around Giga Texas. As a reminder, the refreshed Model Y, one or two new smaller models based not he Model 3 and Model Y, the Cybercab, Optimus Robot and the Cortex training data center are all expected to be in full operation & production at Giga Texas in 2025!
I hope you enjoy what Irma able to show and talk about in this video and that it helps you better understand the context and the enormity of that Tesla has done over the past 12 months to get ready.

Another year and you have managed to capture so many of the changes, I'm sure things must happen when you are not flying. Watched from the start, and re watched many of your videos to remind ourselves how fast this has all happened. Hoping to visit in April 2025, travelling from the UK. It's crazy to think back to Elon having mentioned that 2024 would be a slow year (relative to previous years) for growth, but looking over your video and taking into account all the headwinds both political and economic Telsa's had an absolutely smashing year! @ 19:26 (Bottom) Failure from the beginning..... Note the cracks across the road panels on top of the stacks. This was BEFORE they were installed! An entirely preventable situation. Engineering failure, failure to test a new design prior to installation, and ignoring visible damage, not heavy equipment.

Tesla has some of the best contractors and employees anywhere. No other construction happens as quickly.

Early glass panels are structural, sheer walls, similar to cross bracing which I don't see much of there. Effect of bracing extends to local area well beyond panels, doesn't take a lot but they'd have to continue adding as build progresses obviously, if that's the reason. Looks to me lk panels are essential structural elements.
They need to test entire installation process regardless. Downside obviously that glass can't be subjected to nearby welding, scratching....
