Interestingly, in America a colloquial term is "ADHD Tax", as a way to appeal to people who can not, or will not, prepare and portion their food. You could buy a bag of carrots, a bag of celery, a bag of grapes, a bag of berries, and a block of cheese and crackers, or you can buy a pre portioned assortment of them all for a significant mark-up labeled "Party Platter" I wish vending machine culture would pick up here, as sometimes facing people feels pressurized or nerve-wracking, even under normal conditions.

America couldv had vending machines like Japan.
But you can thank the Democrats and their homeless problems for putting a stop to that lmfao.
Im democrat myself, but homelessness is something the party is completely incompetent at.
90% of homeless openly say they dont want to participate in society. They shoot heroine 24/7, and dont even attempt to take advantage of all the welfare/education/benefits our country provides. Infact, Welfare seems to have an inverse relationship with Homelessness. More welfare = more homelessness from my point of view. These social programs should only apply to sober individuals. moment you have a molecule of hard shit like heroin in your blood stream, you should be just banned.
ofc white people aint ready for that conversation yet, since its everyone else that gotta suffer with these ego driven virtue signaling homeless policies.
Only reason I bring this up, is that my city has had to close their libraries, vending machines, and other public services, exclusively because of the homeless issue.
