If you have the newest TUNA do not foget to use this format: {title} (with parentesis) otherwise it won't display anything in Zephir box, any word you see in the output editor list must have {} or it wont work, this crucial information is not displayed in the info!!. I cannot get Tuna to show up in OBS studio Tools for the life of me. I installed using the EXE file then I even went and copied the zip files into their corresponding folders in the OBS folder, still nothing. I don't know what else to do. How can I 1) disable scrolling and just have all of the text appear still and 2) how do I disable the "Artists" title at the top? I just want the title to display in full on the screen
Can I somehow make this to display the title of a VIDEO played thru VLC? I don't wanna go thru hundreds of videos and copy/paste the title metadata to the "Artist" section :/

Are trying to configure tuna? If that's the part you're talking about, you'll want to set the path for artwork, artist, and title to the same folder as Zyphens Now playing folder. The same place as Song.html. if the music file has these properties, tuna will convert the information to .txt and .png for artwork where the song.html will read the info a d display it.

Just clicked "view current log" and this is what I see: " [tuna] Failed to load VLC Mappings: must be an object" " [tuna] Loaded 0 outputs" So for some reason it seems Tuna and VLC aren't seeing each other..
Hey I'm sorry i missed this comment, I'm currently deployed so time is a little off for me and internet usage is random. To make sure you have the txt files you open Tuna under tools in OBS. Under the basics tab, add them as song info outputs and put their path in the now playing folder for zyphen.
@@JunaTirzah yes, the installer doesn't locate OBS, only puts it where the default location would be. If it's not there, it simply creates that path, and if OBS isn't there the addon won't register.

@@CrestlessWave Okay, that eliminates the easy option. I almost guarantee the issue is in Song.html. Check the artwork part, var image path=artwork and make sure the file extension matches. Mine is set to png, but default is jpg.
There is no solution to install VLC on OBS mac...it's a shame... so on Mac we can't make a list of MP3 audio files readable on OBS... OBS is very good, but even MANYCAM can do that!

After adding the same Tuna settings that you did, when I run Tuna it says "No song playing" and a question mark for the artwork, even though the VLC video source is playing music from the playlist. How can I fix this?
Take a look at the file Song.html. edit it with Notepad++ and search for Artist first. Most likely itz called Snip_artist or something. Rename it to whatever you named it in Tuna to be exported. Do the same for Song/Track, and Artwork. You really can call them whatever you like, as long as they match in tuna and in Song.html.

Make sure you edit the file "song.html". The snip-artist.jpg or whatever its default is needs to match what tuna is creating in the folder. If Tuna creates a txt file called "artist.txt", that needs to reflect in the song.html, otherwise it won't display it.
Download the 64-bit version of VLC if you have 64-bit version of OBS. The default download for vlc is 32-bit and it doesn't work as source for 64-bit OBS

That's strange, tuna should be the easiest part. Do you have OBS installed in a different location? Like another drive or different path?
@@xKilonova I did, but moved OBS to my C drive and it's working normally now

To get it to work you need you to click vlc tab in tuna then click add to add vlc.

You have to click vlc from the tabs in tuna and add in vlc. I was banging me head for a couple hours but that worked.
