Nice job dealing with the cops. I got pulled over on my Ducati at the Camp Pendleton stretch. CHP was chasing me at 125 for 10 moles and I didn't know it. He said I disappeared and he thought I was running so he had a roadblock at San Onofre and a helo on standby. But when I came up on other cars I slowed down, saw him and pulled over immediately. He was super cool(considering) and just gave me a ticket for 100+. I told him I was gonna plead not guilty in hopes that he decided to spend some quality time with his kids and he smiled and shook my hand and said he liked quality time with his kids. So he doesn't show up and the judge is pissed. He makes me wait until the last case to give the officer time to show. He tells me that officers are trained to know speed and says if they write 100+ that means I was flying. He tells me he's willing to accept I was only going 75 and asks me to be honest and says he'll be my worst enemy for life if I lie. I know he's going to fine me if I say 75 even though I have the right to cross examine my accuser, so I tell him I screwed up and got caught. I was doing 100+. He gets mad, but I tell him I'm being honest like he asked. So he he laughs and thanks me for being honest and dismisses it. 4 years later I get a BS ticket for swerving across 3 lanes to avoid a drunk driver running a red light at night. The cop didn't see the car almost kill me. So the judge(same one, Jerome Verone) says, because it's your word against the officers I find you..., and I interrupt him. I ask if he recognizes me and remind him. He laughs and tells the courtroom that I'm an honest man and says, not guilty! I winked at the cop and said, bye bye.

The lambo lost control, went into on coming traffic and hit a vehicle with 2 small children in it. The kids were taken to hospital. I've gotten frustrated in the past when you're so passive and accept the ticket, then you don't even fight it in court. It's important to have the camera recording your driving and speed, but not let the cops know you have it, or they'd confiscate it, along with your vehicle. Did you record your mileage the time your car was impounded? Just to make sure they didn't take it out for a joyride.

I ask if he recognizes me and remind him. He laughs and tells the courtroom that I'm an honest man and says, not guilty! I winked at the cop and said, bye bye.

Just because they pulled you over, doesn’t mean you’ll always get a ticket. Some idiots just need to be told how much of an idiot they’re driving like. The drivers two cents made no difference weather or not a citation would be issued.

The officer did not have proof beyond a reasonable doubt to even site him and he knew it and when called out by Dave, he decided it wasn't worth going to court to lose. The officer didn't even witness driving like an idiot. Just some Karen called in complaining for no good reason 🤷♂️

I love the way that they say everyone does the speed limit that's how they can tell that the lamborghini was speeding. When I'm driving down there I hardly ever do the speed limit and neither does any one else
But if you admit you were going even 1mph/kph over the speed limit then they technically will win the court case because you admitted to being guilty for speeding

Most of the time I agree with you. But this was probably after that silver lambo was speeding with a black range rover. The lambo lost control, went into on coming traffic and hit a vehicle with 2 small children in it. The kids were taken to hospital. And a blue Ferrari got impounded when he was caught going 189kph in an 80kph zone. This shit was all over the news in bc when it happened a couple weeks back.

I would wager alot of those calls from people saying they're "blowing past them like they're standing still", are either jealous they don't have a car like hat, or a "Karen" who is a wannabe cop and saw several sports cars together and decided they must be up to no good.
That cop seemed so disappointed that you were able to tell him those calls from other drivers about you speeding wouldn't come close to holding up in court.
I must say, I was happy you stood up for yourself for once, and didn't admit to either speeding or erratic driving and you told him how it wouldn't hold up in court. I've gotten frustrated in the past when you're so passive and accept the ticket, then you don't even fight it in court. It's important to have the camera recording your driving and speed, but not let the cops know you have it, or they'd confiscate it, along with your vehicle.
Did you record your mileage the time your car was impounded? Just to make sure they didn't take it out for a joyride.
