Very nice dungeons, GLSH was indeed a lot of fun to clear (when not wiping for an hour). To me Timescape will always be remembered with it's inter-stellar environment and metal music on last boss :) Currently looking for the next few dungeons to implement, so all options/recommendations are very much appreciated :)

There's not gonna be any 'official release' due to legal/copyright issues with using tera's assets, but I'm making sure to make it available for those who want to try :) It's a (non-profit, solo/local coop) hobby project still in development, but I'll keep you updated abt the progress with more uploads coming soon :)

Glad you like it! Yes I'm aiming to move to UE5, but I don't see that happen before the end of the year. They are behind schedule, and a lot of the latest UE4 features are still very work-in-progress. Do you have any favourite dungeons in the game that you'd be excited to see implemented? P.s: Yes, it was bigger in Tera :) Tera's camera is way further away from the player, while this implementation has a closer view for immersion. This makes it so that certain monsters have to be different size than the original, to keep monster fit in the screen during fights and properly see incoming attacks. At the same time, this is an open-world version of the monster and will be a bit bigger than in the video :)

A bit late reply, sorry. I definitely plan on making it available for people that want to try it, but I'm not making any deadlines to still keep it fun and avoid any pressure. My version is a hobby project, and since I'm the only one working on it, it's way 'smaller' than the original game to keep the scope realistic and doable. Less maps/dungeons, less abilities, but hopefully just as fun combat-wise (and better visually). We regularly do internal testing of new features with friends tho, so in that regard it can already be tried :) Ty for your motivation
Honestly I feel you should be hired to do this it will bring so many tera players back. Your doing a way better job than mEME and gameforge honest opinion.
Hearing that makes me very happy, but sadly there's only so much one person can achieve, especially as a hobby. A company with hundreds of employees will always have a better chance at building something big. But let's see where it goes, I'll have some new stuff prepared pretty soon :)

There's not gonna be any "official release" and such, as it would raise copyright issues with the original game, but I'll make sure that those who really want, will be able to access the finished project :)

I play on NA Tera and we only have one server which is called "NA server" ya we don't even get a cool server name or anything we have...originally there were a few servers to choose from even pvp servers but they all merged to form one... As far as MMOs are concerned it's dead compared to BDO or FFXIV but meh I suffer from sinking ship syndrome so I'm staying till I get bored or it shuts down (they've been saying this for 2 years or so) honestly it works for me tbh I don't play all day but when I do play que times for dps is instantly (very rare af) or between 5 - 40 minutes so ya I don't mind I've been playing for 9 months never touched PC TERA so can't compare I'm happy you could say lol Lootboxes are cancer and the 0.02% chance to get a certain mount I want is as well but that's just me lol It's FTP and they need revenue so I understand, Sorry for my long rant I know I'm all over the place my apologies, I'm antisocial in RL and also in game so I'm just letting off steam I'm not disgruntled and I wouldn't stop anyone from playing tera. ✌ friend may the good blood guide your way (bloodborne reference) take care have a gr8 day/night and ty for taking the time to respond back 😊
Actually I'm working on something for the project continuously, never running out of stuff to do^^ Features I'm on right now would be: importing+improving areas like Island of Dawn, Velika, Fey Forest; classes+races like castanic reapers, NPC interactions, weather and day/night systems, just to name a few.

@@redfantasy_kr Thank you! :) Sadly it does not have enough features/gameplay yet to be actually playable/fun, as the scope has to be way smaller than Tera to actually be finished at some point. We regularly do some playtesting with some ppl however, mainly for discovering bugs and for the general fun of it.
Looks awesome! Have you seen the leaked official server? It has Lua scripts that you might use for AI logic, spawn points, timings, etc. P.S. Would be great to see MCHM, Sirjuka, or Wonderholme.
It's only possible because of you, so half the credit goes there! No I actually haven't seen the leak, I'll have to research to know more. Sirjuka was actually one of my main priorities (thanks to it's amazing visuals yet still 'oldschool' feeling), but I could not find the map among the current files. WH is already completed, but has not been posted in here yet :)

The lvl20 class testing area (the shore) is also a nice idea, would be pretty damn nostalgic to get our hands on them for sure. I'll post WH soon, but kinda unsatisfied with the indoor lighting yet. Should be coming over the next few weeks, either before or directly after Channelworks :)
