As a 50 something year old Gay Man I too am a survivor of an abusive relationship. My First relationship with a man, at the age of19, was traumatic he Physically and Sexually abused me almost every day for 3yrs and I thought it was my fault the I could've done better it was all i knew growing up my Father was Physically abusive to my mother till she started to fight back Unfortunately I never learned how to do that from my mother. This isn't just a women's issue there are men out there going through the same thing but i wanna thank Mel B for coming out and tell her story.

it's a little weird when someone congratulates another person on finding a partner, like that's the best that could happen to you. having said that, I love Sherri and i LOOOVE Mel B.

Let's not forget Sherri Shepherd had a surrogate carry a baby for her and her now ex husband and during the pregnancy he and her husband split and Sherri fought in court to not be in the birth certificate even though there was a contract, and didn't want the baby or have to pay anything for him. Her ex husband is raising the boy and she has nothing to do with him. What kind of trash mother abandons a child she wanted and planned for and has fought in court not to pay anything to support him. She didn't abandon her other son Jeffery when her and his father split. Just trash!

My mother was in abusive relationship with my father. And I dearly love the both of them. My father is a better man ever since then.
But mother always told my siblings that the reason she stayed was because of us. She wanted us to grow up in a two parent home. She tried to stay as long as she could for our sake, but at some point she had to make that difficult decision to divorce my father.
As kids, my siblings and I had a trouble growing up without both parents in the picture, but after listening to Mel b, I even better understand why she needed to make this decision.
