Brian Cox is 72 I think and he is playing a character that is suppose to be in his 80s. Remember they celebrated Dad's 80th birthday in the first season. Alan Ruck is 63 I think but is clearly playing a character that may be in his early 50s especially since he looks a lot younger than his actual age.

Jeremy Strong should win an emmy for that performance alone - the facial reactions of the cast were so real. All the old guard at the company thought it was risky. Roman was clearly jealous his brother was getting real applause and lightening up such a dry event. And Shiv, Tom and Greg seemed genuinely happy Kendall was having some real fun after awhile since he has mostly been isolated and depressed since Logan fired him for trying to take over the company and then his takeover scheme with Sandy flopped (after his father cleaned up his car accident involvement). And based on Marcia's expression she knew Logan loved it because it drew all the attention away from him and actually took effort as oppose to Roman's gift which was spending Logan's own money on a football club he is not even a fan of lmfao.
@@falsum2701 I can understand not liking ken, and this new season hasnt helped, but he seems maybe like the character most trying to do the right thing, even if he fails spectacularly and isnt a good person generally. Mostly, I just pity him and can empathize with his struggles. And with Logan as the obvious villain, Kendall is kind of in the protagonist role by default.

Roman mocks Connor by saying something about “Oh, my mommy [Connor’s mother] had to go to the boobie house.” Boobie house is a slang term for psychiatric ward, apparently. It’s a quick exchange, but I really do wonder what happened to her
Shiv is so transparent but she think she can manipulate anyone, it’s hilarious. And when she can’t have her way she explodes on any and everyone who doesn’t agree with her. She’s the weakest of the bunch.

Also Kendall did Connor dirty hooking up with one of the lead actresses in the play he is financing. I am guessing they don't have an understudy and the show isn't happening till she returns after Kendall is done playing with her. And Rhea clearly lacks judgement when she said Roman could be good at being CEO lmfao he buys a 50% stake in a European Football Club as a gift to his father using Logan's own money and didn't even care to confirm whether the team was actually the one he was a fan of with him or anyone else before he did it. Letting Roman run the family firm would literally be like giving a monkey a machine gun. Shiv is way too vindictive to be CEO she has no boundaries basically telling her husband to go seduce and potentially even get intimate with a woman likely old enough to be his mother then again her brother Roman is literally gaining the hots for a woman who may actually be the same age or older than his actual mother. Kendall has drug and shoplifting problems but lmfao those things are treatable in addition he has remorse for that car accident death compared to his siblings who all seem to have serious character and moral issues.
I think it was heavily implied that Jennifer the lead in the play was just like Willa, a sex worker. She gave vague weird kinda answers to questions of her being an actress. And if she's just a friend of Willa it kinda says that Connor is blowing his funding on nothing good anyway. Either way Kendall is a bitch for shunning her after Logan is kinda eh on her, tired of him seeking his daddy's approval constantly.

The entire family seems uneducated, and yet the is a snooty, silly scene where daughter has just boffed a handsome guy who says that he watches the comics for news. She is dismayed, and we are supposed to be too. But what do they read or watch? Nothing, apparently.
