Hi, I followed the 2 double, 1 double, 1 double pattern but when I'm about 6:28 in from your video mine doesn't resemble yours ha! I think I'm putting too many 2 doubles in as it looks more round than long. Am I correct in thinking this? Is there a way to alter to make it look like yours? Thanks for the video (I'm very beginner).
Yes you could change the way the you put the stitches but unfortunately I don't have the numbers because I had not try that, one thing that may help is putting less pressure, trying to make the stitch not too tight. I showed someone how to make this hat personally and her hat was coming up different but she was able to make it right when she adjusted her tension. I hope that helps
What is the height of the hat? It's hard to tell where the top of the baby's head will start because of how skinny it is up towards the top. Usually it's supposed to be 5 or 5 and 1/2 in mine only seems to be about 4 in without the white added on yet.
@@cindywood2089 Hi, the whole hat with the tail measures 11.5 inches, however the part that is supposed to be for the baby head is the las 6 rounds of red and the white part, that should measure 4.5 inches or. The rest is supposed to be the tail only, I had done hundreds of hats and they do fit pretty well with those measurements 😊
