I find the contrast between the traditional view of God as presented by mainstream Christianity and the Gnostic interpretation of Abraxas incredibly compelling. This viewpoint challenges the very foundation of what many of us have been taught to believe. If Abraxas truly embodies both light and darkness, creation and destruction, does that mean we should reevaluate our understanding of good and evil in the context of spirituality? Before we came into this world were we sinners ? If reincarnation exist we might have been. I doubt Christianity but Jesus teachings in the New Testament are something else than what has been written in the Old. It's a new law we might say. He says that God is Love. But the Old Testament God is not a God of love. Love cannot be jealous. And if God from the Olt Testament is Almighty than why does he need people to worship him? Love doesn't need worship. Love is the attraction of the Divine. Love can not be forced to someone. Love is not selfish, It acts first.
Jealousy as a vane thing or as covetousness is not the same as the way it is used in the old Testament context, which itself fluctuates depending on each shift in context and blanket statements opens up doors for confusion. For example, God killed and said we can not, but He killed OUR enemies; knowing the heart when the LORD sees harm coming to those who He has plans for they have to be removed. Also, death and killing in the bible is a context also changing throughout scripture as it is applied differently (9 times out of 10 physical death, with spiritual applications being secondary as when God says Heaven He means Heaven and when He says Earth He means Earth. Spiritual understanding is knowledge to be given only when the literal/ physical teaching and all of its varying degrees and aspects have been fully undersood and accepted in the heart, if the physical aspect is not first understood and where when and how it is used, people are decieved) jealousy inspired by desire to have a relationship with one from the point of view when one cares is not the same as one jealous over riches then killing to obtain a lifestyle equivalent. An Example of this would be if I were to be jealous of a position with the opposite gender and then inspired to improve self for the sake of love jealousy is not sinful but motivating. If I were to be jealous and kill to stand in one's place I (in this case) would not be demonstrating the fruits of the spirit and instead would have resorted to using an opportunity for personal development to sin. All need Grace because we naturally do what seems to be opposing to what is intended for us to embark on and are incapable of fully realizing the effects of Sin until it takes place in our physical lives. This is why we are not saved by works, but judged by our works, otherwise salvation would be a moot subject if we didn't need Divine help to be saved as the physical comes first to people who still are unable to see in the spiritual due to visionary cataracts. Judged by works meaning held accountable for evil actions performed as a result of intentions. This is why God desires for all to obtain a deep knowledge of His word so; we would have first, before accepting anything else, experience the transforming of the renewing of the mind to be able to produce good fruits and thus be judged by our works which also would resultant in goodness and harmony. All by the measure of faith which starts by believing. Since God is first and foremost accurately described in the scriptures (the word is truth and so is God both are one; the same, only difference is the word is God theoretically explained. *or* the Bible is a story of how the Lord deals with situations. Since judgements are for the wicked and evil with intentions to harm others and not for God's people, the idea of God being not good or in opposition to His Son or any new Testament teachings is rendered false accusations without evidence, and just the opinions of naysayers writing books to justify designing the hook to hang their doubts on. Instead they should get on their knees and ask God to show them the truth as it is in Him and to make the things known to them that they might live. To remain just (fair) there is plenty of truth gems spread across the abyss of books other than the Bible; however the truths are in the Bible and that is where they find evidence for any truth that actually exists elsewhere God is the beginning and the end and this includes theoretical knowledge, not just order and matter. Remember that God is the only one that guarantees life with a protector that no diety nor any of their publications promise or even mention because all know to claim to remove God from His position is impossible. Only God has the true power to save so trusting or even seeking any other is wasting away precious moments and thoughts that could substantially rearrange for the better detriment in the systems; shaping such into positive realities for the inhabitants of man kind, if efforts are made through sincere prayer God will open the eyes for the one who asks in sincerity to show to them the mysteries in His Word of truth that we could have read over and over and never noticed nor understood until divine help is given in response to those who ask in faith with humility in their expectations. Willing to accept what is given gracefully. The Laws are misunderstood for only a season and a time. Babylon is performing at their highest level of effort and strength but I'm just getting started. Keep the mind in a constant state of prayer. It is also good to note that if one wishes to know the Creator and His Son they must go to the Bible, if desiring to know other dieties then they obviously would go to other books for hidden knowledge. All knowledge is hidden, even in the physical; hence there are colleges teaching material qualifying for degrees through completion, although nowhere near as profitable as the school of God, information is chosen based on the desires of the heart. God is found in His word.

Okay thank you for sharing ,this does put this life in a different lite. So yeah,they must have left out a lot from the book so we couldn't see it, but when you read it,yeah one has to say something seem to be missing!
The god I pray to has proven he cares,hears,loves , answers prayers and so many times I've lost count.he gives a choice of following evil or good.no one else has answered my prayers in an obvious reality.

In watching this video, I immediately spotted several contradictions. Here's a couple of them.
Contradiction 1:
Claim: Sophia is portrayed as the embodiment of divine wisdom, the highest form of knowledge in Gnostic thought.
Contradiction: Despite being perfect wisdom, Sophia is said to have acted independently of the supreme God, leading to a mistake or "fall" that resulted in the creation of the material world. If she were truly perfect wisdom, it seems contradictory that she would act in error or experience a fall.
Contradiction 2:
Claim: Sophia is of divine origin, emanating from the highest realms of the Pleroma (the fullness of God).
Contradiction: Her actions are said to have led to the creation of the flawed material world and the birth of the Demiurge (a lesser god), who traps souls in ignorance and suffering. This seems contradictory, as a divine and wise being should bring about goodness and enlightenment, not suffering and entrapment.
Contradiction 3:
Claim: Sophia, representing wisdom, desires to know the unknowable God (the Monad).
Contradiction: Her desire for this higher knowledge leads to her fall and the birth of ignorance in the form of the Demiurge. Wisdom, which is supposed to illuminate and bring understanding, paradoxically leads to ignorance in this narrative.
Contradiction 4:
Claim: Gnostics often believe that Sophia is ultimately redeemed through the intervention of the Christ, who brings salvation and enlightenment to humanity.
Contradiction: Despite this redemption, the world remains a product of her original error, and the material realm is viewed as inherently flawed and a place of suffering. If true wisdom is restored through Christ, it seems contradictory that the flawed creation remains central to human existence.
Contradiction 5:
Claim: In Gnostic tradition, Sophia often represents the divine feminine, an essential counterpart to the masculine aspects of the divine.
Contradiction: Despite this, she is often portrayed as powerless or even helpless after her fall, needing redemption from a higher male figure (Christ or the Logos). This depiction of a powerful divine feminine figure who is nevertheless powerless seems inconsistent with the idea of a balanced divine duality.
In one final thought, the sacred writings show more evidence that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He offered salvation to anyone who wants to be saved. The gnostic rejected this offer. Let the gnostic be buried in the consequences of this rejection.
The Creator told them that they will die, if they eat the forbidden fruit the villain told them " Surely you will not die, half true half lie.

Mostly likely from their personal observations of life which would have been pretty negative as they were either secret society or simply killed or persecuted.
