Recording is bad, Vicente is muffled and bass more dominant. I never seen this bad of a sound on any Paco concert. Vicente should care more about live mixing. Saying that, i always prefer Vicente over Paco on album quality but Paco was an unbeatable master of live performance.
People always showing ignorance by comparing artists, obviously Paco and Vicente have nothing to do with each other, either in style and performance, this guy (Vicente) has always declared himself as a Paco´s musical son, that kind of humbleness makes him even greater. That been said, Vicente is accomplishing what every genuine genius is expected to: Improve, innovate and go beyond his roots. period.
***** Paco was the tradition mixed in the world music and his innovation was to open the flamenco tradition to the world. I think that Vicente is modern, his music is more of our time and of course his ability and his flamenco come from Paco and from his Maestro Manolo Sanlucar. Vicente is perfect, his sense of "ritmo" is perfect as well his technique is always perfect.....I don't remember to hear a mistake in his sound. I love paco, his tremolo is maybe the best tremolo of the flamenco but I love Vicente also....They are very different but I love both. Vicente maybe sometimes more simple to follow but his technique is incredible, always perfect. Paco is more difficult to follow because He come from directly from the tradition.....follow and listen "La Barrosa" for example could be not simple...also his sound his more aggressive than Vicente.....but I repeat I love both...nobody like them!!!!!
