@@themadplotter Good one. Actually I'm Canadian. That word doesn't come up much in every day usage. Most of our houses are capacious, therefore that's our default. The exceptional house size in Canada would be 'diminutive'. ;)
I'm from the UK so an 'English OG'. I would like to reassure you that sometimes it's OK to be confused about capacious/capacitous. As a mental health nurse i have often to comment on someone's capacity i.e. their [mental] capacity to make decisions, but I've seen several notes where people have written 'capacious' (i.e. 'roomy') rather than capacitous (i.e. 'having the capacity to'). People who like to rag on you for minor linguistic issues probably have more serious things going on in their lives, and we should wish them all the best with those.
@@stephr7637 This is a funny ( and friendly) thread. I've grown up on 'britcoms'. And no small part of my enjoyment is being entertained by the clever use of language. American TV relies on laugh tracks and fart jokes. Which can be amusing. Canadian humor is often based on the absurd. But with shows like "Doctor in the house" the Goodies and Monty Python you can almost hear the writers thumbing through a thesaurus with every line.
This Show is under rated really
Did bibbo call me when I was drunk at Freddy’s with Jane
-How much is it?
-£8000
-....I'm going to leave now

Genuinely relatable consumer testing for the UK populous.

£110,000 one of a kind projector - not even centred on the screen...
That high tech house was a nightmare. "We can't get the screen down and the seats won't raise and HRH is coming tonight."
This house eventually sold for about 1.8 million, steal if you ask me.
Wow sounds like a good deal! All i need to save up is 1.8 million dollars.

Claudia is more committed to bangs than anyone in history. (Also, gorgeous, so I'm not criticizing)
Ironically we are going to Chessington
Paused video.
Looked up the word 'capacious' in order to reassure myself that I knew what it meant.
Resumed video.
You from the USA? We won't hold it against you. Much.
