nice review I have two of these one can strobe but my other one cant im sure its me and not being able to program it right but you really do have a good instructional video, thanks
@User 2389 double the lumens or cut the price in half. I went to a Surefire edcl1-t not long after this comment and love it. 500 lumens, $123, built like a tank. And even it’s no power house at 500 lumens, but way better than my HDS
@User 2389 I live on 7 acres and am frequently at my parents house who have 40. Call me crazy, but I like to have the ability to light up the woods or the 500’ driveway for 5-10 seconds. Do I want 500+ lumens all the time? Of course not. Why can’t HDS get with the times and offer 500-600 lumens out of a cr123, with it obviously being able to be dialed back with the rotary for most tasks? Especially at the price they are. And yes not having a reasonable pocket clip is baffling. With all that said I still keep my rotary laying around as I find it makes a good light for working on stuff like a refrigerator or in an attic, but I definitely don’t edc it for reasons listed above.

Finally someone that shows a beam shot outside at night. Not super impressed, but at least I got to see one.
