This is as exactly as it goes and happens in both the Superman and Supergirl comic books and both in Smallville and CW's Supergirl. The characters are not to blame for their relationship to go awry, out of control, out of heart and soul or out of character or most importantly, heartbreaking and heartless. This is the writer or writers that make and create the characters. This is exactly how a Luthor lives, eats, sleeps, drinks, breathes, survives and walks about everyday life and among others but while Lena is a much different character, aside from Lillian Luthor and the ever seldomly brought up adoptive brother's name, Lex, i guess the wise old adage just might be true after all. All apples don't fall very far from the tree and that includes both good apples and the bad ones. No matter which family tree we're apart of, there's always going to be one of those apples not far behind from following the one that fell way too far. Take Lena and Lex for example. If i were a writer on the show, i would start coming up with concepts and characterizations for this new character: Maya Kate Luthor of light golden brown hair, jade green eyes and.....is a biological sister of Kara's from her Kryptonian family and Clark's other cousin and.....not even Lena or the whole Luthor family never even learned about.....and Maya takes Lena's place overall. I'd be looking forward to making some character changes and re-writes at that writer's table and only Maya El-Luthor will be the only fake Luthor named character that hands her adoptive family back their own asses...with her sister's help if Supergirl even wants to but besides, it'd be nice to let Kara have a sister at her helping side. What do you think?
My OTP shattering in front of my eyes because Kara as Supergirl is WAY out of character is too much. It was bound to happen a fight between them given their families and such but not like this. NOT like this CW. Sigh, I will fortify my heart and pray that they would eventually figure it out and this would not lead to Lena snapping and becoming evil like Lex because ti would be bs. martinski Not entirely true. In s1 and 2 she was coherent and didn't act like a hypocrite. In this season especially as Supergirl, she is way out of character and incoherent and hypocrite, at least before she didn't go around accusing people of lying and going behind her back, she did it with her aunt and her parents but that is another story she was more disappointed and sad then anything else, now she is accusing Lena and she is being purposefully hurtful towards her when she spent the all previous season defending Lena from people that acted just like that.
Lena never backs out from pointing out when kara is wrong...i would love it..if they show that lena always knew that kara is supergirl and played along because kara is her best friend..and just like other times, all lena is doing here is hurting kara in the same way kara hurt her..so that kara herself realizes her mistake..because lena knows kara will understand maybe? I know i am trying very hard in this imagination..but given how lena always surprises us..i would not be very surprised..
