I wanted to return this Fall but It looks like I won't be able to return until Fall 2025, sadly... That is such an epic spot!!!! All about timing though!
@@Benandlandon Oh man you live in a wonderful spot! I'll be moving to Thunder Bay come April - by all means if you ever want to connect & fish let me know! I don't have too many spots around Thunder Bay but give me a year or two LOL
It was just off the Cypress River - The owner's names are Eric & Tracy. Such wonderful hosts & even told us some good fishing holes like the point we fished... It was such a good trip!!! Rod setups were key! Long 12 foot rods to get the casting length we needed, plus when those trout hit, you need the rod to take the brunt until you are able to run over & grab it!
@@PatterningNature Appreciate the tips! Forgot to ask, if I don't bring a boat can I drive to the point you fished? Is the point far from the cottages?
@Over50 Adventures I believe the point is owned by the cabins we stayed at, but those fish are all over that whole shoreline, especially closer to when Brook Trout close around labour day wknd!
@@MichealBacon Anytime brother!!! If you head out that way during a specific set of dates leave me a comment & maybe I can come meet up with you for some fishing!!!!
Good catch guys - right in my backyard1 You hit it right!
