Just heard this song on XM radio. This song is so awsome. It really touches something deep in my soul. Went to itunes and downloaded all Libera stuff. There voices are out of this world.
You are correct, bigbadredsox. "Lux Aeterna" from the Album "Libera" and "In Paradisum" from the Album "New Dawn" are the same song. Different soloists. Adam Harris with the old one and Ed with the new.
I may be nuts here but this song is on the New Dawn CD with the title In Paradisum and Ed listed as the soloist. But it sounds like Adam Harris to me. It is difficult for me to think someone is trying to pull a fast one. I have become a big fan of Libera and I can't find the words to describe the Belfast show. It was well worth the long trip. Maybe it is just me, at least I hope so.
This song is the very last song in the album "Libera." It concludes all the dramatic movements happened through the album (which was mainly led by Liam O'Kane) by calming down. I feel the beauty of modesty from this song, and Adam was ought to be chosen for this song's soloist, not Liam O'Kane. This song represents that eternal beauty of modesty.

DOCMNICH1 It's on there first self titled album, Libera, it's the album with white dove on orange or brown background. The other songs that are similar are In Paradisum
Over the years, Libra has produced some fine trebles. They never disappoint.
Je ne me lasse pas d'écouter ses anges.

This beautiful and amazing song is music for my soul. Always been a fan of Libera since hearing the release of their song Vespera.
이노래만 들으면 내가 사는곳에 현실감각이 모호해짐. 16년째 제일좋아하는 노래중 하나
Never gets old!
Изумительно! (Amazing!)

Is Adam still singing after his Libera days? Beautiful voice very angelic.
I hope the boys do this again real soon. So soothing and relaxing.
Você ainda estar vivo ???
I bought this album cold years ago sight unseen and was floored by what I was hearing. This is one of the best cuts but half of it is missing!
Libera will always be the angle chores on plant 🌎 and beyond

Op de eerste CD van Libera uit 1999 staat dit nummer als 'Lux Eterna'.
Op de CD New Dawn, staat exact dit zelfde nummer als ' In Paradisum'.

Does anyone know what became of Adam Harris? He really had a beautiful voice.
Agreed. But it says Ed in the cd notes so we must accept it as true.

I'm not complaining but, is it my imagination or did Robert Prizeman use this same melody for "Twilight is Stealing" with Ben Crawley?
I am ex navy and fairly hardened but when this was shown during a Battle of Britain remeberance programme in 2000 (i think) I was moved to tears.
@tb5jones You mean Tom Cully.
imagine Libera + Gregorian :)
That enigma power of voice
What a tribute to the fallen heroes.
