As a 40 something trans man, this segment provided such an honest and raw perspective of how challenging that unexpected news must be for a parent. I have never heard so many facts about what transition looks like in short period of time. From the conversation aspect, faith dilemmas, the multiple surgeries (uterine/ bottom surgery is almost NEVER acknowledged), hell that man even brought up sports!
You properly educated your audience all while using perfectly crafted sensitivity and respect. Well done!
DR B... im trying to defend you here but you really gotta pump your breaks a lil bit and let the guests finish pouring their heart out man... when you interrupted him, realizing that he was not finished with his sentence, your behind should have said " excuse me, carry on"

Dr. B interrupted him right when he was about to talk about his daughter being suicidal, I don’t think she could hear he was about to go there.
Yep, always changing the trajectory of the conversation so she can talk. When will the producers of this show correct this!

@@roots1458 yes she does. The psychologist or whatever she is needs to go sit in someone’s else chair so can be diagnosed and given meds if need be. She makes me not even want to watch the show even though they have some good topics. I would love to hear everyone’s point of view.
Dr B thinks she’s smarter than what she is. Listen really closely to her. Don’t let her over confidence fool you. She says some dumb stuff and uses awkward vocabulary like “upsetness”. A therapist would know not to I

I support nixing Dr. B. For a mental health professional, she either absolutely lacks insight into her toxic communication habits or she DOES need a diagnosis
She makes the show very difficult to watch. I'm trying to give this show a chance in spite of her (extremely) off-putting communication dynamics

Folks need to stop complaining about Dr. B because a lot of yall are the same ones that sung her praises after watching ONE interview (with Cam.) This is why it’s important to pump your breaks and get to know folks in different dynamics and atmospheres.

I was impressed with Dr. Bryant initially. However, I’m curious why nobody has said that they went to school with her or why she will not produce a valid license! To be clear, it’s not common practice to show & tell. However, when your behavior shows you want to be called Dr. then lack the respect Dr.’s as such is problematic!
The fact that she made a necklace that says Dr. Bryant..... I mean... how can anyone take her seriously?
She has her doctorate.
She is NOT a *medical* doctor where you are licensed (in a particular state) and have to write your boards MCATs, have to go through residency, fellowship etc.
@@UnLisable It's difficult to take her seriously, in part because of her vocabulary issues. There are a lot words she just doesn't know or uses incorrectly. There are lots of other reasons... but hearing her say the wrong words - or sometimes even make up words - is what's most cringey. She should invest in some coaching...

Dr B is very consistent, she interrupts her co hosts and guests. She thinks she knows more about any topic than anyone who's part of the conversation. Can you imagine Dr. B being told that she has the right to remain silent? LMAO😂😂😂😂😂
Dr B, it’s one thing to have degrees, and a title in front of your name. But, even with all of that it doesn’t prevent foolishness. You should know better than to keep interrupting others as they are speaking. Do you need attention? Diagnose yourself, what is wrong with you. Y’all are going to let Dr. B get this show cancelled. A lot of the audience disapprove of her constant needing to be the person giving dialogue.
Well put! She seems a little to me like she has a histrionic personality disorder with narcissistic tendencies. It definitely is rooted in her childhood as she so openly shares with us.
