I've slept on a pad the first few nights in front of the dog crate so my puppies could see me or lick my hand. It helps with the initial separation anxiety from their siblings.
I have a new lab pup coming in a few weeks and I am enjoying this training series of videos with prairie! What do you use to partition your kennel as they are growing?
I am in the process of researching getting a new pup. I am considering the exact same kennel setup you have there (size, colors, camo... you have good taste :-) ). I don't to spend money on multiple crates as the pup gets older/larger (Buy once cry once. Gunner is an awesome product). What do you use as a divider in that kennel since Gunner doesn't have that option?
I’ve had dogs on hard surfaces and it’s hard on the elbows in my view. I do put in a towel…. But make sure no accidents. So as we beg the process a fair number of towels get washed.
I will be getting a dog in a couple of months I will be asking a lot of questions, here is one, like you say put her in there when you sleep could you put that crate in the bedroom with you this way she won't cry and be lonely or is that not a good idea?

I used a box (Doritos variety pack). It took up and fit just right for our kennel.
I also have a variety of sizes of kennels, but really like your idea of changing the internal size of the kennel.
Great video.

Would love to hear your thoughts/tips on puppy biting and the best way to give correction without causing fear/harm!
What happens if she can't hold it? If you make very little room in there for her, then what? it's not her fault. How do you deal with that?
