I had a near death experience. When I was standing outside heaven's gate all I wanted to do was meet and worship Jesus and God the Father. I could only sense their presence but what I do remember is being perfectly OK and at peace with leaving my loved ones behind. All I wanted to do was continue to bask in the incredible love I was enveloped in. Here on earth I can not fathom leaving my loving pets but when I was near heaven I remember specifically being completely at peace with leaving them behind because I knew without a shadow of a doubt that God was in control of everything and that everything would be OK if I left them. But I was never allowed inside the gate and I was not allowed to see Jesus or God but I could sense their overwhelming presence and love. Then in an instant I was back in my body laying on my bedroom floor where I had collapsed and died. But what was incredible was that I instantly sprang to my feet and was overwhelmed with the love that I had felt outside heaven. It was the purest most incredible love I had ever felt. I felt love for the entire world. I kept yelling over and over Jesus exists, He's alive and He's going to return. I was exhilarated beyond anything I had ever felt. My hands were in the air in the direction of the ceiling directly above where I had collapsed and I couldn't bring them down. I felt a power coursing through my body. I knew I had returned to my mortal body with the love I would feel in heaven. I knew right then and there that life is all about and only about one thing---LOVE. This feeling continued for about 15 minutes but as hard as I tried not to I could feel my human emotions returning. I sat on the edge of my bed trying to take in what was happening to me and then suddenly the pure love I had felt was gone and I was completely back to being a living human being with all our faults and sins. But I could remember everything. I have no doubt that there is a heaven and that Jesus and God exist. It hasn't completely changed my life. I still feel anger, fear, anxiety and sometimes hatred. That's all part of being human and experiencing life. But one thing I no longer fear is death. I look forward to it and when it's my time I will leave my body with a smile on my face. What is awaiting us is pure peace and love. Amen.
We are made new in heaven. We’re free from pain and suffering in heaven. If our loved ones could look down on us from heaven, they would see pain and suffering so I don’t believe they are able to see us or communicate with us, even though we really want them to. I believe God has much more planned for us when we get to heaven than for us to be worried about who is left behind
Say you have 2 loved ones (that know each other) that passed and went on to heaven and one died 12 yrs ago and the other died yesterday...um the one that died yesterday is gonna fill the one in that been gone 12 yrs. Of course they have a sense of what's going on

I feel your pain my friend. My step father died on mom's and his anniversary as well. RC Sproul once made the comment that in Heaven we will be so focused on God, that things on earth and the lost ones we have loved dearly will be not much more than a footnote compared to seeing God the Father, and Jesus Christ face to face. Oh how I look forward to seeing Them for the first time. I believe you will some day stand next to your husband and both of you will witness the greatest Glory that exists together hand in hand. I know Pastor Greg teaches truth but we all know he lost a son and I believe many who have lost a loved one, will try to search to continue having a hope of knowing they are part of our lives here on earth. I truly believe with all my heart that God blessed us with a memory to have beautiful memories of our loved ones and that in itself is a blessing and a gift from God. I personally don’t believe they are watching us but I do believe that our Lord is PERFECT and He is MAGNIFICENT in His ways and He promised us Eternal Life with no tears, no pain and no sorrow. ✝️💜.... We may not experience sadness the same way in heaven. More like an acknowledgment of past sadness that’s now gone... I could be wrong - but that’s just my take on the above.✌🏼🙏🏼
I have seen the next life, you will be amazed how much your spirit knows. You are the breath of life called a soul, a record of this physical life. The knowledge you had before getting a body your spirit still retains this knowledge. Nothing you have ever done will be forgotten. People can't even imagine how good you feel when dead, how smart you truly are, and how fast you can think as when I was at heavens door I spoke to a thousand people while watching a video of my whole life all at the same time able to comprehend everything.

The only reason for the Raptureing of the bodies in the grave, is to reunite the body with soul and at that time they will be transfigured like Jesus was.

Unless you can understand the difference between the soul and the spirit scripture will not make sense to you. They found Jesus Christ blood had only 24 chromosomes,,,,when put in a liquid solution the blood still had life, those particles never die. This is what reunites with a transformed body to our spirit which was before time began in heaven with GOD.

Wayne thats exactly the way i feel its like..i domt believe we have no recollection after we pass of who we were how we lived and what we loved..they dont feel pain sorrow suffering. Totally agree, if you have complete happiness in heaven, how can you be happy if a family member on earth is having a difficult time. So I don't no for sure, but I believe our love ones that are in heaven do not see the things on earth, just my opinion.
They watch out of love, and desire for you to reach them. If personage is kept and past lives are remembered and time passes equally across all spiritual planes, then it would not be righteous to deny them the knowledge while they wait. God watches, god cares, he made humans in his image and makes us one with him in heaven, so why would they also not know? There is nothing to be sad about when you know justice is coming for all. When you are dead and saved you can only hope for more to join you as those rightly judged by the father who you are with. In heaven all will know satan is in hell forever the whole time and bears no influence. Why would you not know? History isn’t gone because you are dead. One world, one history, it is the Bible which led people to Jesus and the Bible talks about wicked deeds, so why would you be made to forget the very thing which led you to salvation in an attempt to protect feelings? When it’s all said and done and you are in the kingdom of heaven, nothing will detract from it, because you’re there forever. You were made unique so that god could know you and why would he take that uniqueness away from you upon death? To say there will be no knowledge of evil in heaven is useless, there will be no evil! What’s the point if you forget why it is that you are there? What use does Jesus have in heaven if you don’t remember that he died and rose again and is the reason you’re there? He died! It was gruesome and evil! There is no victory over the grave with ignorance. There is no personal relationship with ignorance. Those in hell will know why they didn’t go to heaven because Jesus will go there to punish them. If they know Jesus only in death they will know he was good and righteous, it doesn’t make hell any less awful!
I believe that when we are going through times of happiness, God allows our loved ones to see this. They recall their times here but there is no sorrow over it. My daughter in Heaven knows she had cancer but for her, it was part of her earth experience and she no longer feels her pain physically or emotionally. I feel she sees her dad and me when we are having moments of peace and joy, thanks be to God!!

Are you saying that Jesus is praising God along with the saints or the saints are praising God and Jesus, who sits at the right hand of the Father? If it's the former, me thinks you need to rethink your theology. Just trying to help.
@Season1 better2 You seemed to be on the right track with your 1st five scripture posts but I'm confused as to why you added Matthew 11: 25. Help me with your reason there. The 1st five are post-ascension while the latter is pre. I think we are one in theology, I'm just one who really needs clarification. As one who does a lot of apologetics, Christian doctrine is a pet peeve of mine.
@Season1 better2 Jesus, in the Gospels, neither was an theophany nor yet glorified. He was incarnate, "made a little lower than the angels." Show me, in scripture, where, after being glorified with the Father, that He is in Heaven praising the Father with the saints. He is the One sitting at the right hand of the Father, in His glorified state, receiving honor, praise and adoration from, not only the saints here on earth, but those who have faithfully departed and are now present with Him in Heaven. The scriptures you quote are those of His life while here on earth. There are none to back your claim post Ascension. That's all I was asking for from the beginning. Plus, there is more to it than just believing..Satan and his minions believe in Him, too, and they shutter and tremble. But if it's what the Apostles taught....and which I believe, even unto death, than you are mistaken to think that I am not a born again believer.
Those people in Heaven are Christ like. They do not feel the pain or hurt we know. But they do see you. You may be doing something that's hurting yourself. They pray to God. Yes you pray in heaven. It never stops. But they are also rejoicing and praising.
For those using Ecclesiastes 9:5 to support the idea of “soul sleep”, bear in mind that Ecclesiastes is in the genre of Hebrew poetry, it was written to express Solomon’s assessment that a life lived in self-interest is vanity. It wasn’t written to teach any doctrine about the afterlife. “The dead know nothing” doesn’t mean they’re “sleeping”, it means their time on this earth is over. To base one’s entire understanding of the afterlife on Ecclesiastes 9:5 would be like saying that the Bible teaches that David was a sheep because he called the Lord his Shepherd in the 23rd Psalm. Consider Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16. Not only were they said to be aware and awake in the afterlife, so was Abraham. Or what about Moses and Elijah during Jesus’ Transfiguration (e.g. Matthew 17:3). They were talking with the Lord Jesus, they weren’t asleep in the grave. And what about Enoch in Genesis 5? That man never died, if he’s not in Heaven, where is he? The Bible teaches clearly that when a child of God dies, they immediately go into God’s presence.

@@dennismadigan2023 I seem to recall that in scripture...Gods Word says that we all must be born again...before that we are dead, seperated from God. Then once reborn we are resurrected in the flesh having the Holy Spirit within us. Physical death is actually the second death, but because of our Spiritual birth in Christ, we no longer have to fear being hurt of this. This is what the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart about this subject. The physically dead are not dead, they are alive in Christ, and in us if we are reborn....through the power of the Father and the direction of the Son sends the Holy Spirit to abide....live within us.

When we die, we go 1st to Paradise or Hades.. There we wait until judgement day. At judgement day, we are judged. Then we go to Heaven or Hell. What difference does it make, if our love ones can see us on earth after they die???? They can't change how we are living, or anything else.
Pam Kirby, Jesus removed all from Hades after the Cross. We go straight to Heaven. There will be a new Heaven that will come down to earth after the second coming.

Revelation 19:1-5 these five versus show heaven's response to the Judgment of the harlot. the multitude in heaven praise God for judging the great whore (Babylon, the harlot) and avenging the blood of the martyrs (7:9-17).
Very good explanation: thank you. You are quite right: there are lots of passages in Scripture that tell us that the angels and saints in heaven can see and are aware of what is happening on earth. There is no passage of Scripture that states that they can't see us. It's also true that the saints in heaven are praying and interceding for the saints on earth.

Doris Hedgeman and that about loved ones left. My son passed away, his sons are made to move far away and his wife he adored after just a few months has fallen in love and will be marrying. My son would be glad she is happy as am I, but my grandsons weren't given proper grieving time or consideration. They aren't happy and therapy would have been so good for them. I feel the momma wouldn't want the therapist to know what was going on at home. So loved ones left behind (not to mention my son seeing how painful this is to me) would be torture to look upon!

The Bible says there are only two resurrections. One for the righteous then after 1000 years the unrighteousness. Your mum and dad are dead waiting for the resurrection on the last day. I don't know which one they will resurrect in but let's hope it's the first. Because only God knows.

I'm relieved to know my beloved husband is not suffering any longer! . And I had vivid dream him and my younger brother who also passed away. I like it when people try to wrest with the scriptures try figure out what is going on on the other side of the vail divides us. There’s a good reason it’s not open to us. This is a life we exercise faith, we will be there soon enough. God gives us a enough in the scriptures to do what we need to, but, we can’t comprehend what it’s going to be like until we are actually there.
I don’t know but I’ll share one thing that happened to me..On a sunshiny summer day went by my Grandmas farm where I had so many precious memories..I got upset because my dad had basically trashed it..Walked around the house and saw the fireplace was caving in..I looked up to keep from crying and there above me was a small upside down rainbow..Not stretching across the sky but like a smile..There had been no rain.. It was a hot summers day..I had never seen an upside down rainbow or one so small..
Because by its very nature, existence, non-error, etc. It is the most historical supported document / book in the world. Jesus is the most influential person... ever. You and all of us on this rock keep our time by his very name. And most importantly, he loved me and the rest of us to die on the cross for us. Our every breath is dependent on Him. All will stand before him when they die.

I believe this is true in the perspective of understanding Gods plan and why he sent Jesus. The mind set in heaven is spiritual. We can't understand if we operate in the flesh and not the spirit. It's way bigger than our finite mind can ever imagine
There is no sadness in heaven so if they could see what the world is like now and their love ones are going through struggles . They would be very sad. So No I don't agree they can see down here.
They now have perfect knowledge and understanding. There's no mystery as to why things are the way they are for us as we work out our salvation on Earth.
The people on earth don't even know what's going on with the people on EARTH. It amazes me of the things we choose to talk about, avoiding real, earthly issues, like, our disobedience to God.
There is a quote from a movie, "You go to certain death.", says Balian. "All death is certain. I shall tell your father of the man I've seen you become.", the hospitaler.
All of this is merely speculation. A lot of Scripture can be argued one way or another, but it's important not to let your faith and your relationship with the Almighty Father waiver. Stay the course. All will be answered one day and it will all make sense then. As a kid, I was always told that loved ones who passed on and now in Heaven, could only see the good things that are happening with us. I chose to think of it that way. One thing we are sure of is that He will return.... and probably soon given the signs of the past few years. Repent and make sure you are ready! God Bless!

Jesus is a person, he lived her was a man. Did he not? Do you think that Jesus lost his humanity when he went back to heaven? Of coarse people in heaven know what is going on here! The saints whom have passed on are not FULLY like Jesus now. Are they not? :)

Thought there would be no more tears. Well if I were to look down and see that my unsaved loved ones were still not saved I would be in tears. So I don't believe we will be able to see what's happening on the earth at all. My eyes will be fixed on Jesus.
I agree with you. Jesus is enough for me. I believe my wife (whom I love dearly) is saved too, but which ever one of us goes first will not even miss the other.

I hope, that heaven is for True equality for all. I like to see a ladder ever one equal to the other. Knowledge needs to be equal, no one knows anymore then what good is about. The mine must be purified for the good only no bad should enter heaven.

This indicates that a person who goes to hades/hell their body and soul is dead because they are separated from God for eternity. However the believer in christ soul doesn't die but have life eternally because it is with the father.

I believe the soul sleeps until it's placed into our new body, which has a brain for us to process thought again. While our soul is eternal, it has no thought apart from the body, no awareness.
The moment a believer dies, his soul (Gen 35:18)(Rev 20:4) and spirit (Eccl 12:7)(Eccl 3:20-21) leave his body and go to be with the Lord. Our soul will remain with the Lord in a “disembodied” (for lack of a better term) state until Jesus returns, at which time body and soul will be reunited.
Luke 16:19-31, People who have died and went to Hell, also remember their life on this Earth. (Revelation 21:4)-- And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

So I have read a lot about this matter and what I gather is that they do not "worry" like we do. Our loved ones in heaven have a different perspective on life on earth. Although they can see us, they are not sad because they don't see life on earth like humans.
The cloud of witnesses that Paul talked about ARE the saints and people of faith and they can communicate with us. The devil only copies what God has. Right on message.
I'm no Bible wiz but I can't believe that those in heaven are aware of anything going in here on earth. I honestly don't think you will remember how you passed. Jesus takes away all the pain,your soul in heaven us made a new. No tears, no sadness just beautiful heaven and worshipping the lord.

This is sad to me. I feel bad about saying that, because God's will is perfect. But this world is so full of evil, corruption, & pain, I don't see how anyone could see it & not be hurt by it. I literally cry sometimes, thinking of the heartache God endures, knowing everything that happens here. And it's kind of creepy to think people I've lost could be watching me. I'm sorry, God. You're 100% right. When we die our physical body decays back into the earth. And our soul goes into a deep sleep until Jesus Christ returns and he resurrects us.
I think if anyone in Heaven could see what's going on down here, it would make them sad! Heaven is incorruptable, it's not a sad place, why would we be allowed, in Heaven, to see sadness, heartache, and despair? Heaven is depicted as having Im- measurable beauty, with no more sickness, death, or crime! Why would we be allowed to see all that? If that was the case, even if Heaven is beautiful, and peaceful, we'd still be sad, knowing what our friends and family are going through here on Earth! I don't believe it. I also don't believe everybody goes to Heaven or Hell as soon as they die either. If that was so, there wouldn't be a judgement day, if you've already been judged to go one way or the other. The Martyrs, I believe, are the only ones who are there because they need no judgement, since they died for thier testimony for Christ. I was taught that the people that have died aren't even aware. They are peacefully resting in the presence of GOD. Isn't until Jesus comes back that everyone will be awaken.

I understand heaven to be where we live in our glorified bodies. He seems to be equating heaven with sheol. He should have started by defining the terms.
Maybe the loved ones in heaven are under a “filter” in that they know we are still on earth but only know when we pray and come to Jesus in Spirit. They know we are in the Spirit of God but don’t see our earthly troubles day to day. For instance, if we die on earth, our loved ones in heaven rejoice at our arrival…they are not saddened. It’s like “Hey! I didn’t know you were coming today!”
My daughter died Jun 30 2019. Does this mean that she is aware of the pain that my wife and I suffer because of our loss? I thought that once you went to heaven you were unaware of what was going on on earth because there was no suffering in heaven. Someone please fill in the blanks. Thank you

If your daughter sees your pain, she is viewing it from a perspective that we can’t comprehend. Revelation describes the roads in heaven as streets of gold. Imagine that. Asphalt is gold. Likewise, even the bitter life we have here on earth seems as precious stone from a heavenly perspective! It’s like when WE read the book of Job. We know what’s really went on in the heavenly backstory. But, Job and his friends didn’t. Your daughter can look at you and your situation, and all the while know and experience the heavenly backstory. She sees HOW God uses all things for the good of those who love Him.
I think it is the same as when you move to a different country. You can still know what is going on in your family's life but not every detail, and there is a process. You need to get permission from God. So in other words, yes she's prob aware you're suffering which is why you need to try and feel better by the day, so that she's not feeling bad. At the same time, she doesn't see everything, only what God would allow her to know or see. So don't worry, when you need to cry, do that, when you find a bit strength and have a slightly better day, ask God to tell her that and what has been happening in your life. He will tell her.
For those that say, " No one is in heaven yet " 2nd Corinthians 5:8 says " To be absent from the body ( dead) is to be present ( soul and spirit) with the Lord " Man is a three part creation. 1. Body 2. Spirit 3. Soul The body goes into the grave at death and stays until the Resurrection. Our soul and spirit at the time of death immediately goes to be with the Lord until the rapture then, they return with the Lord and are joined with their glorified bodies. Those souls and spirits do know what is happening and they know that God's got it all in control. They aren't upset, mad, sad, angry. Those emotions don't exist in heaven. That isn't twisting scripture to suit my agenda. Kat Kerr wrote books on her visits to Heaven. She mentions portals where people can watch. She's on TH-cam. I would like to believe that. I think God is revealing more information to us. Especially with the near death experiences.
I had a friend who had passed visit me in a dream and thanked me for posting my music on facebook and that they could view it from heaven. She even said the name of the mechanism they use, but it is blocked out in my memory.
I had a near death experience. When I was standing outside heaven's gate all I wanted to do was meet and worship Jesus and God the Father. I could only sense their presence but what I do remember is being perfectly OK and at peace with leaving my loved ones behind. All I wanted to do was continue to bask in the incredible love I was enveloped in. Here on earth I can not fathom leaving my loving pets but when I was near heaven I remember specifically being completely at peace with leaving them behind because I knew without a shadow of a doubt that God was in control of everything and that everything would be OK if I left them. But I was never allowed inside the gate and I was not allowed to see Jesus or God but I could sense their overwhelming presence and love. Then in an instant I was back in my body laying on my bedroom floor where I had collapsed and died. But what was incredible was that I instantly sprang to my feet and was overwhelmed with the love that I had felt outside heaven. It was the purest most incredible love I had ever felt. I felt love for the entire world. I kept yelling over and over Jesus exists, He's alive and He's going to return. I was exhilarated beyond anything I had ever felt. My hands were in the air in the direction of the ceiling directly above where I had collapsed and I couldn't bring them down. I felt a power coursing through my body. I knew I had returned to my mortal body with the love I would feel in heaven. I knew right then and there that life is all about and only about one thing---LOVE. This feeling continued for about 15 minutes but as hard as I tried not to I could feel my human emotions returning. I sat on the edge of my bed trying to take in what was happening to me and then suddenly the pure love I had felt was gone and I was completely back to being a living human being with all our faults and sins. But I could remember everything. I have no doubt that there is a heaven and that Jesus and God exist. It hasn't completely changed my life. I still feel anger, fear, anxiety and sometimes hatred. That's all part of being human and experiencing life. But one thing I no longer fear is death. I look forward to it and when it's my time I will leave my body with a smile on my face. What is awaiting us is pure peace and love. Amen.

We are made new in heaven. We’re free from pain and suffering in heaven. If our loved ones could look down on us from heaven, they would see pain and suffering so I don’t believe they are able to see us or communicate with us, even though we really want them to. I believe God has much more planned for us when we get to heaven than for us to be worried about who is left behind

RC Sproul once made the comment that in Heaven we will be so focused on God, that things on earth and the lost ones we have loved dearly will be not much more than a footnote compared to seeing God the Father, and Jesus Christ face to face. I know Pastor Greg teaches truth but we all know he lost a son and I believe many who have lost a loved one, will try to search to continue having a hope of knowing they are part of our lives here on earth. I truly believe with all my heart that God blessed us with a memory to have beautiful memories of our loved ones and that in itself is a blessing and a gift from God. I have seen the next life, you will be amazed how much your spirit knows. You are the breath of life called a soul, a record of this physical life. The knowledge you had before getting a body your spirit still retains this knowledge. Nothing you have ever done will be forgotten. People can't even imagine how good you feel when dead, how smart you truly are, and how fast you can think as when I was at heavens door I spoke to a thousand people while watching a video of my whole life all at the same time able to comprehend everything.

The only reason for the Raptureing of the bodies in the grave, is to reunite the body with soul and at that time they will be transfigured like Jesus was.

Unless you can understand the difference between the soul and the spirit scripture will not make sense to you. They found Jesus Christ blood had only 24 chromosomes,,,,when put in a liquid solution the blood still had life, those particles never die. This is what reunites with a transformed body to our spirit which was before time began in heaven with GOD.

If my deceased family was "watching" us on earth, they would be sad. Perhaps even upset, which is not what Heaven is about.
Totally agree, if you have complete happiness in heaven, how can you be happy if a family member on earth is having a difficult time. So I don't no for sure, but I believe our love ones that are in heaven do not see the things on earth, just my opinion.

They watch out of love, and desire for you to reach them. If personage is kept and past lives are remembered and time passes equally across all spiritual planes, then it would not be righteous to deny them the knowledge while they wait. God watches, god cares, he made humans in his image and makes us one with him in heaven, so why would they also not know?
There is nothing to be sad about when you know justice is coming for all. When you are dead and saved you can only hope for more to join you as those rightly judged by the father who you are with. In heaven all will know satan is in hell forever the whole time and bears no influence. Why would you not know? History isn’t gone because you are dead. One world, one history, it is the Bible which led people to Jesus and the Bible talks about wicked deeds, so why would you be made to forget the very thing which led you to salvation in an attempt to protect feelings?
When it’s all said and done and you are in the kingdom of heaven, nothing will detract from it, because you’re there forever. You were made unique so that god could know you and why would he take that uniqueness away from you upon death?
To say there will be no knowledge of evil in heaven is useless, there will be no evil! What’s the point if you forget why it is that you are there? What use does Jesus have in heaven if you don’t remember that he died and rose again and is the reason you’re there? He died! It was gruesome and evil! There is no victory over the grave with ignorance. There is no personal relationship with ignorance. Those in hell will know why they didn’t go to heaven because Jesus will go there to punish them. If they know Jesus only in death they will know he was good and righteous, it doesn’t make hell any less awful!

I believe that when we are going through times of happiness, God allows our loved ones to see this. They recall their times here but there is no sorrow over it. My daughter in Heaven knows she had cancer but for her, it was part of her earth experience and she no longer feels her pain physically or emotionally. I feel she sees her dad and me when we are having moments of peace and joy, thanks be to God!!

Show me, in scripture, where, after being glorified with the Father, that He is in Heaven praising the Father with the saints. He suffered, crucified and died under Pontius Pilate, was buried, rose again from the dead...bodily, ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father, coming again to judge the living and the dead, and sends the Holy Spirit to indwell the hearts and minds of the earthly saints to guide us in all truth and righteousness. Those people in Heaven are Christ like. They do not feel the pain or hurt we know. But they do see you. You may be doing something that's hurting yourself. They pray to God. Yes you pray in heaven. It never stops. But they are also rejoicing and praising.

For those using Ecclesiastes 9:5 to support the idea of “soul sleep”, bear in mind that Ecclesiastes is in the genre of Hebrew poetry, it was written to express Solomon’s assessment that a life lived in self-interest is vanity. It wasn’t written to teach any doctrine about the afterlife. “The dead know nothing” doesn’t mean they’re “sleeping”, it means their time on this earth is over. To base one’s entire understanding of the afterlife on Ecclesiastes 9:5 would be like saying that the Bible teaches that David was a sheep because he called the Lord his Shepherd in the 23rd Psalm.
Consider Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16. Not only were they said to be aware and awake in the afterlife, so was Abraham. Or what about Moses and Elijah during Jesus’ Transfiguration (e.g. Matthew 17:3). They were talking with the Lord Jesus, they weren’t asleep in the grave. And what about Enoch in Genesis 5? That man never died, if he’s not in Heaven, where is he? The Bible teaches clearly that when a child of God dies, they immediately go into God’s presence.

@@dennismadigan2023 I seem to recall that in scripture...Gods Word says that we all must be born again...before that we are dead, seperated from God. Then once reborn we are resurrected in the flesh having the Holy Spirit within us. Physical death is actually the second death, but because of our Spiritual birth in Christ, we no longer have to fear being hurt of this. This is what the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart about this subject. The physically dead are not dead, they are alive in Christ, and in us if we are reborn....through the power of the Father and the direction of the Son sends the Holy Spirit to abide....live within us.

This can't be true . The Bible says there are no tears in Heaven . There is no way they could look down here,and have no sadness or tears!
When we die, we go 1st to Paradise or Hades.. There we wait until judgement day. At judgement day, we are judged. Then we go to Heaven or Hell. What difference does it make, if our love ones can see us on earth after they die???? They can't change how we are living, or anything else.
Pam Kirby, Jesus removed all from Hades after the Cross. We go straight to Heaven. There will be a new Heaven that will come down to earth after the second coming.

There is no passage of Scripture that states that they can't see us. It's also true that the saints in heaven are praying and interceding for the saints on earth.

Doris Hedgeman and that about loved ones left. My son passed away, his sons are made to move far away and his wife he adored after just a few months has fallen in love and will be marrying. My son would be glad she is happy as am I, but my grandsons weren't given proper grieving time or consideration. They aren't happy and therapy would have been so good for them. I feel the momma wouldn't want the therapist to know what was going on at home. So loved ones left behind (not to mention my son seeing how painful this is to me) would be torture to look upon!

The Bible says there are only two resurrections. One for the righteous then after 1000 years the unrighteousness. Your mum and dad are dead waiting for the resurrection on the last day. I don't know which one they will resurrect in but let's hope it's the first. Because only God knows.

Because by its very nature, existence, non-error, etc. It is the most historical supported document / book in the world. Jesus is the most influential person... ever. You and all of us on this rock keep our time by his very name. And most importantly, he loved me and the rest of us to die on the cross for us. Our every breath is dependent on Him. All of this is merely speculation. A lot of Scripture can be argued one way or another, but it's important not to let your faith and your relationship with the Almighty Father waiver. Stay the course. All will be answered one day and it will all make sense then. As a kid, I was always told that loved ones who passed on and now in Heaven, could only see the good things that are happening with us. I chose to think of it that way. Thought there would be no more tears. Well if I were to look down and see that my unsaved loved ones were still not saved I would be in tears. So I don't believe we will be able to see what's happening on the earth at all. My eyes will be fixed on Jesus.
I agree with you. Jesus is enough for me. I believe my wife (whom I love dearly) is saved too, but which ever one of us goes first will not even miss the other.

This indicates that a person who goes to hades/hell their body and soul is dead because they are separated from God for eternity. However the believer in christ soul doesn't die but have life eternally because it is with the father.

They, (saints under the alter), are tribulation martyrs.

The moment a believer dies, his soul (Gen 35:18)(Rev 20:4) and spirit (Eccl 12:7)(Eccl 3:20-21) leave his body and go to be with the Lord. Our soul will remain with the Lord in a “disembodied” (for lack of a better term) state until Jesus returns, at which time body and soul will be reunited.

This is sad to me. I feel bad about saying that, because God's will is perfect. But this world is so full of evil, corruption, & pain, I don't see how anyone could see it & not be hurt by it. I think if anyone in Heaven could see what's going on down here, it would make them sad! Heaven is incorruptable, it's not a sad place, why would we be allowed, in Heaven, to see sadness, heartache, and despair? Heaven is depicted as having Im- measurable beauty, with no more sickness, death, or crime! Why would we be allowed to see all that? If that was the case, even if Heaven is beautiful, and peaceful, we'd still be sad, knowing what our friends and family are going through here on Earth! I don't believe it. I also don't believe everybody goes to Heaven or Hell as soon as they die either. If that was so, there wouldn't be a judgement day, if you've already been judged to go one way or the other. The Martyrs, I believe, are the only ones who are there because they need no judgement, since they died for thier testimony for Christ. Anyone else, (according to some scripture I've read), is asleep until Christ's return.

I understand heaven to be where we live in our glorified bodies. He seems to be equating heaven with sheol. He should have started by defining the terms.
Maybe the loved ones in heaven are under a “filter” in that they know we are still on earth but only know when we pray and come to Jesus in Spirit. They know we are in the Spirit of God but don’t see our earthly troubles day to day. For instance, if we die on earth, our loved ones in heaven rejoice at our arrival…they are not saddened. It’s like “Hey! I didn’t know you were coming today!”

If your daughter sees your pain, she is viewing it from a perspective that we can’t comprehend. Revelation describes the roads in heaven as streets of gold. Imagine that. Asphalt is gold. Likewise, even the bitter life we have here on earth seems as precious stone from a heavenly perspective!
It’s like when WE read the book of Job. We know what’s really went on in the heavenly backstory. But, Job and his friends didn’t. Your daughter can look at you and your situation, and all the while know and experience the heavenly backstory. She sees HOW God uses all things for the good of those who love Him.
I think it is the same as when you move to a different country. You can still know what is going on in your family's life but not every detail, and there is a process. You need to get permission from God. So in other words, yes she's prob aware you're suffering which is why you need to try and feel better by the day, so that she's not feeling bad. At the same time, she doesn't see everything, only what God would allow her to know or see. So don't worry, when you need to cry, do that, when you find a bit strength and have a slightly better day, ask God to tell her that and what has been happening in your life. He will tell her.

Man is a three part creation.
1. Body
2. Spirit
3. Soul
The body goes into the grave at death and stays until the Resurrection. Our soul and spirit at the time of death immediately goes to be with the Lord until the rapture then, they return with the Lord and are joined with their glorified bodies.
Those souls and spirits do know what is happening and they know that God's got it all in control. They aren't upset, mad, sad, angry. Those emotions don't exist in heaven.
That isn't twisting scripture to suit my agenda. God is a loving God....He knows our hearts and the love He gave us to share with our loved ones that are with Him .I truly believe they get to look in from time to time. But, I don't think that they are constantly watching ....God is......They are praising Him !!!!

I’ve been to heaven when I died. People up there do not care about what is going on here. They do know when you’re at the gates tho.
