Alessia and her best friend were so cute together. Hearing Andrea starting to talk was amazing. He is a all rough and tumble and on the go little boy who wants to explore and get into everything. I had wondered why the kitchen had been setup the way it was because it didn’t make sense especially since Anna loves to cook and bake. Sometimes it takes living with a setup for a while to realize that things need to be changed or reorganized to help the flow of things as you use the kitchen to its fullest potential without driving you batty. I agree that the refrigerator needs to be moved. Then think about the layout of how and where you do different tasks so that what you need to do them everything you need is roughly in the same location. It’s okay to have pantry items a bit farther away, but things for baking should be in the baking area, just like you have done in the coffee area . Spices and herbs should be closer to the stove and that side of the kitchen. I was surprised that the dog food is right in the middle of where you prepare food for the humans. Why not have it closer to where they eat because that’s why you created the doggie room for them. This was a fun video. I am in the middle of reorganizing my 1940s kitchen and am desperately trying to create space to make it easier to bake and cook. I don’t have much storage space and it’s not a large kitchen and the cabinets were custom built in place when the house was built so the depth is shorter than modern cabinets which can affect the type of dishes you have and what you can put in them. My laundry room was originally a porch that was later enclosed to create a laundry room. It was just redone following a major water leak and errors made by the contractor who was supposed to be in charge of fixing it resulted in it having to be gutted to the studs and floor joists. Getting to choose the replacement items and colors was a huge blessing and made me realize that the kitchen needed help too.

So weird I was thinking when Anna was prepping for dinner that the fridge is not in the triangle, and you have to walk all the way around to get food out. And then you guys talked about my thought at the end. Strrrrrange!! Was also wondering how many square feet is your kitchen it looks quite big. My parents house's kitchen is big too but was thinking I could probably only afford to buy a condo at the most 500-600 sq feet in downtown Toronto as they cost at least half a million!!
