The El Niño Effect

Taken during one of my field assignments at the mountainous area of Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental. The effects of months of not having rain and heat index that reaches above 40 degrees celsius is very visible. Plants had dried up that a small cigarette butt thrown can quickly start up a fire.
