I've actually never heard anybody say that. I know a guitar teacher whose wife is a piano teacher. He told me that at some point his wife asked him to teach her to play classical guitar. She soon said she'd never thought it was so difficult and she decided to stick to the piano.
I think that is one debate some people will continue to have. Personally I think it’s just two different instruments. The guitarist has more tonal control of their instrument vs the pianist because the guitarist can shape their nails differently, use less or more flesh, play at different positions on the strings and also play the same note on several different strings. I think the difference in difficulty between the instruments becomes less significant at higher levels. As a classical guitarist, I’d love to hear someone who is equally proficient in guitar and piano weigh in on this. For me lots of great piano pieces have been very successfully transcribed for guitar, some work even better on guitar but many are just best heard on piano, like Chopin’s Ballade no.1.

He is probably one of the best in the world. I heard him when I was in the 10th grade fir the first time and I was blown away.

これがガチャガチャしてるって耳腐ってるだろ。しかも、この速度でこれ程ガチャガチャせず自然に弾けるのは史上で今の所この人だけだから、こういう演奏がピックアップされがちなだけで山下の演奏の8割はむしろ馬鹿丁寧なものの方が多い。そして、クラギ界隈ではコポステラ組曲とか丁寧に聴かせる演奏も評価が高い。批判するならせめてそれくらいは調べてからにして欲しい。
そうですね。難所になっても揺るがぬテンポ。これからも山下を超えるギタリストは出ないでしょうね。

しかし、そう言っていた人たちは心の底では恐れていたことを私は知っている。俺はギターをやめると言っていた人もいる。山下和仁の出現で日本のギター界が大きく変わったのは事実だが、近頃少し停滞気味かな。

素晴らしいパフォーマンスだと思いますが ただ僕の主観では クラギならではの美的な音や音楽性をもっともっと魅せて欲しいです❣️

散々指摘されてることだし返信しなくてもいいけど一応言及しておくけど、この人はそういう音を出すべき曲では誰よりも綺麗に出してるので、そっちの動画を探してください。動画だとそのたぐいは少ないけど
バリオスを聞いてみてください、いかに一音一音を綺麗に出してるかが
分かります、素晴らしい演奏ですよ、誰も真似できません。単に早い
だけの演奏とはわけが違います、魔笛のあり得ない速度の演奏も
ミスなしであの速度の演奏とか運動神経が違うとかしか思えん。
あの演奏を知ってしまうと他の演奏が霞んでしまうのは仕方がない。
たまには ギターを丁寧に弾いて欲しい！
