Not to be nitpicky, but the music at 18:55 is a rendition of the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky. Other than that, cool video; would love to see a video showcasing the "games that didn't disappoint elk" shelf :)
@@Elkcrown the original and most famous tetris theme is indeed that, but not in the NES version apparently: if you look them up the difference is quite obvious :)
….you are too good at making me, a person who sucks at video games, want to play hard video games. goddDAMNIT now I wanna play NES tetris. hats off man, i‘m jumping into the RSI pit headfirst now
ALSO look i know. mobile games suck. but i grew up playing tetris on my mom‘s phone and ngl even though idk what app it is anymore that will always be my personal Tetris Experience. i completely understand the hate though LMAO
i remember when i first played tetris as a kid i didn't know i was supposed to clear lines out so i just made a big structure that i thought looked cool, when i got a game over i thought i won. good video btw
Tetris Effect Connect has to big upsides, its music and the fact that it has an nes mode, though the Gameboy version still has *the* tetris theme. What truly make me love nes Tetris is that it needs no explanation, set somebody in fron of nes tetris and they will on next to no time have understood all of it, but modern tetris with hold, infinite spin, weird scoring, weird rotation how are you meant to pick it up. Nes Tetris is transparent if somebody beats you than its just that they're better, in modern tetris they could just have more knowledge about the intricacies of the game

Thats odd :0 the sources i had for the music of this game listed it as korobeiniki, but thank you for letting me know :D
